TMZ has learned Khloe Kardashian willingly missed a high-profile birthday party ... to tend to an injured husband -- how's that for proof marriage changes people?!

After Lamar Odom went down with a leg injury during Thursday's game against the Sacramento Kings, we're told Khloe chose to bail on her flight to Las Vegas the next day for Kim's birthday at Tao nightclub ... just so she could help nurse her hubby's boo-boo.

10. I would miss the party too. I wouldn't want anything to happen to any of my meal tickets(both E shows and Lamar) either.

She has to nurse that dude back to health so his ass can get back to work. That money has to keep rolling in.

Lamar has 3 more years on that contract so she can't let noting keep him down now. LOL.

11. A 'high-profile' birthday! It was Kimmie's birthday and Khlodum can celebrate at home with the family when Kris is done having Kimmie and ol Reggie flaunt themselves in public in Vegas. Gee, maybe Reggie will take note that Kimmie is much older than he and that he'll need more time to sow his oats. Hopefully, he'll realize that his brain won't be fully developed until the age of 25 to 26, and he shouldn't make any rash decisions until then. ~ As far as Khloe goes, Kris will make her stay home with her new man so he might lean towards giving ol Khlo some of his 33-million. ~ Poor Bruce.

12. Yes, I can see Khloe now. She's food shopping and cooking and cleaning for him. She's driving 'their' kids to school every day and making sure they have a balanced sack lunch. She's preparing dinner, bathing the kids and tucking them in before cleaning the dinner dishes. All this while taking care of Lemar's leg. What a woman! Not.

Maybe Kris should have Khlodum make a sex tape. Oh, but Khloe will be too busy running a household. Not.

Oh, maybe Kris will have her make a sex tape with O.J. She would get more money for that.
