Tiger Woods will not play in the Chevron World Challenge golf tournament this week.
The reason for Tiger's no show -- car crash injuries.
On Tiger's own website, he released a statement saying, "I am extremely disappointed that I will not be at my tournament this week ... I am certain it will be an outstanding event and I'm very sorry that I can't be there."
The site also says Tiger will not compete in any more events this year.
The tourney says they are trying to find someone to take Tiger's spot and that it would be one of the top 50 players in the world.
As for refunds, the tourney's site says tickets will be refunded at face value beginning next week.

(Page 1 of 1)Tiger is a very private man. He has always maintained his privacy. It is perfectly clear now, the reason behind the meticulous maintenance of privacy. It is not because he is an inherently private person. It is because he has been dipping his wick. And that is what he wishes to keep private. We know of two illicit affairs. How many more ? Gutless! Too ashamed to face the public with his duplicity. Because of his evasivness , about the accident, he has set himself up for public investigation by the media and court of public opinion. The accident involved Public property. That is Public Domain.I don't have any sympathy for , Tiger. You play. You pay.
