Steven Tyler is playing a little bit of hardball with "American Idol" execs -- saying they better "lay out the bread" if they want him to come on board.
Less than two weeks ago, the Aerosmith singer proclaimed "I'm doing it" when asked if he was gonna be on "Idol." But yesterday in New York, he seemed to be playing coy when asked whether he was going to take the gig.
We smell a negotiation ploy!

The speed at which previous and potential judges are bailing (or being fired) from this show gives Tyler the perfect cir***stances to ask for $$$. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if they approached Susan Boyle to be a judge

I'd tune in every show if it was Randy Jackson, Katy Perry and Bret Michaels.
Randy Jackson = Veteran
Katy Perry = Very opinionated, great personality, was the best guest judge in Idol history IMO.
Bret Michaels = Popular and big following (especially in last couple of years)

Oh my God those American Idol executives are as dumb as a bucket of rocks. First they get rid of Paula for that moron Kara ruining the chemistry of the show. Now they are going to hire this wax figure of a man when most of the public is yelling DON'T HIRE HIM. We are all saying BRET MICHEALS will be a better choice but it is falling on deaf ears. Cancel this show already. They haven't produced a TRUE winner since Kelly and Carrie.
