I'd tune in every show if it was Randy Jackson, Katy Perry and Bret Michaels.

Randy Jackson = Veteran
Katy Perry = Very opinionated, great personality, was the best guest judge in Idol history IMO.
Bret Michaels = Popular and big following (especially in last couple of years)

I think everybody is being a bit harsh. Steven is an icon and who can say he does not know the business? He has been successful at it forever no matter what personal demons he has survived and overcome!

Oh my God those American Idol executives are as dumb as a bucket of rocks. First they get rid of Paula for that moron Kara ruining the chemistry of the show. Cancel this show already. They haven't produced a TRUE winner since Kelly and Carrie.
