Warner Bros. to Charlie:

Here's Why You're Fired

3/7/2011 8:25 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

TMZ has obtained a letter Warner Bros. sent to Charlie Sheen's lawyer, stating Charlie was being terminated because he committed a felony involving "moral turpitude."

Charlie Sheen Termination Letter
In the 11-page letter, obtained from sources connected to Charlie, Warner Bros. states, "Your client has been engaged in dangerously self-destructive conduct and appears to be very ill."

The letter then goes on to describe Charlie's hijinks, including trashing the Plaza Hotel in NYC, coke binges, on-set failures because of drug fatigue, and diatribes against "Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre.

The letter also notes that Charlie derailed production when he went into rehab, and then he fired his sobriety coach.  In fact, Warner Bros. claims it was so concerned about Charlie's well-being, "Warner Bros. had an airplane waiting" to take him to a treatment facility ... but Charlie would have none of it.

As for why Charlie got fired, the letter says there is a clause in his contract saying they can fire a performer who commits "a felony offense involving moral turpitude."

The letter says, "There is ample evidence supporting Warner Bros. reasonable good faith opinion that Mr. Sheen has committed felony offenses involving moral turpitude (including but not limited to furnishing of cocaine to others as part of the self-destructive lifestyle he has described publicly) that have 'interfere[d] with his ability to fully and completely render all material services required' under the agreement."

In short, that's why Charlie was fired.

Charlie's lawyer, Marty Singer, has demanded Warner Bros. pay Charlie for the eight canceled episodes -- or else.

Warner Bros. seems undaunted by the threat, even reserving its right to take legal action against Charlie.

Charlie needs help! Anyone who hires him will just be enabling him to continue his un-acceptable behavior. I hope he gets help before it is too late. His children deserve better. He is apparently down to 2 1/2 brain cells. The character on the show was not supposed to be real charlie--when it's real-it's not funny anymore.

So Charlie lied about being professional and hitting every mark. He is like a disgruntled employee that gets fired for not coming to work or not doing his job. Then spouts off to everyone, "I was the only one there that did anything". We all have heard that pitiful line before.

Get help Charlie.

I can assure you CHARLIE team losers, that Charlie will NOT even get this case in court and if he does, he could perjer himself into being charged with a felony. Read WB's letter again and the wording ...the wording is key and Charlie has without a doubt exacted each of the charges. Sure would not want any of you Charlie Team players as my legal defense team; uggggg you really suck! Chuckles, if you file your claim in Alaska you can get a larger unemployment check but the termination could be difficult to get around. I would love to be your insurance agent to inform you because of your firing, we have to increase your rates BIG TIME. Have a great day Chuckles.

Winning

Weiner Brothers hasn't fired Charlie Sheen.

You have lifted great hammers that pound down the rivets and sheaths of metal that constrained the fiery pheonix god that is Charlie Sheen. He will rain down his fire from heights beyond your mortal comprehension. You don't fire Charlie Charlie, you ide under your desk with your hands on your ass while the fire god of the apocolypse soars through the vangaurd that was the only bastion of hope in your miserable existence is burned to ash.

Charlie Sheens winged liberation from the pathetic mockery talent production that is Weiner Brothers will stand to be the foundations of the greatest ressurection of genius this pathetic planet will ever seen. You haven't fired Charlie Sheen, you have unleashed a GOD that will cuterize the throats and faces of those left mouth agape stunned in place, sealed in ash by a Demi God.

Warner Bros. Hires Powerhouse Lawyers To Handle Charlie Sheen

by Perez Hilton

Uh-oh.

Charlie Sheen may want to shut up now.

Warner Bros. isn't messing around. They've hired big-time lawyers, Ron Olsen and John Spiegel, to deal with Charlie.

The two lawyers have been in contact with Charlie's lawyer, Marty Singer who sent a letter to Warner Bros. and CBS threatening a lawsuit if they didn't restart production on the sitcom.

He also accused the network and studio of turning a blind eye to Charlie's notorious partying, but then overreacted when he lashed out against show creator Chuck Lorre.

Yikes. With big powerhouse attorneys like Olsen and Spiegel, Charlie may want to keep his mouth shut if he wants to have any chance of returning to his job.

But then again, it's CHARLIE FREAKIN' SHEEN. We have a feeling we'll be seeing him in court very, very soon.

It's about time, I once supported him, time for him to go, burned to many bridges. The show can go on without him. Not the Charlie Sheen Show.

I think Charlie is going to win this fight with them. Everything he did they stood by him and said he was a professional at work and they had said there was no morality clause. They used that excuse for keeping him when this started back in Aspen a year ago. They didn't take action against him until he started talking about that lorre or whatever his name is. And then like a hurt little school boy the guy put the show on hiatus. Over his feelings getting hurt, not any of the stuff that had already happened. They are trying to use it all against him now, but I don't think they'll get away with it. Especially since all the craziness he's been saying was after they put the show on hiatus.
