Chuck Liddell Asks Judge for Full Custody

4/1/2011 2:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Chuck Liddell is in an L.A. courtroom asking a judge for full custody of his son, after the boy allegedly told him he didn't want to live with his mom anymore.

Sources tell us 12-year-old Cade was visiting Chuck from Colorado, where he lives with him mom, Lori Geyer.  Chuck claims the boy was depressed and upset and didn't want to go back.  And, Chuck says, Cade complained he was "living with a severe toothache for 2 to 3 months."

Chuck took Cade to a dentist, but feels his son's "health and safety are at risk."

Chuck's lawyer mentioned in court the boy was allegedly abused by being forced to perform physical labor -- including snow removal.

The judge ruled that the Colorado courts have jurisdiction over custody so a hearing has been scheduled there on Tuesday.

UPDATE: After the hearing, Chuck said he was there to "protect" his son.

Wait a minute people... the kid is 12 years old and up until this point Chuck hasn't had a problem with his child being raised by his mother. At this point for Chuck to step in there are reasons beyond TMZ's knowledge. I have a 16 year old who has a list of chores to do every day but if his father and I had slip up. I would let our son live with his father from the age of about 11 & up because by that point I would have taught him everything about how to love, be respectable, always but family and Christ first. At that point, its dads turn to teach him to be a man, make a living and support your family.

uh oh. i just made my daughter clean her her room. i hope nobody tries to take her away from me now.

the kid doesn't want to do his chores so he whines to daddy that mommy's bad.

if my daughter went to her father and complained that i made her do her chores, he would say "oh well, suck it up"

One reason he might want full custody is that he won't have to pay child support to the mother anymore.

And physical labor, such as snow shoveling, is abusive? That's ridiculous.

This is a prime example of how kids get messed up. They learn at a young age as you can see from this story to play their parents, especially if they are divorced. Most parents are so spiteful they are just looking for a reason to get back at the other parent. Instead of using common sense and telling the child to do his/her chores they scream bloody murder trying to make the other parent look bad.
Probably the first time the child has mentioned his toothache as well. His father should've talked to his Mom told her that the boy had a toothache and to do his chores and been done with it.
Wait until this happens to the Dad, it won't be so funny then!
Divorced parents need to get their sh*t together.

So glad to read that most people don't buy into this story. As the single mom of a 17 year old son and a 12 year old daughter, my kids has tried to play the "going to dad's to live" card many times. It is a bad game for parents to play, instead a united front should be shown at all times.

Chuck's son was not upset for having to shovel snow. He was upset when his hands were nearlyy frostbite and he was crying but still forced to shovel snow. Who makes their child shovel snow in bitter cold without warm gear at a vacant home of a relative? Chuck is a caring father who has always provided for his child. When his son complained of abuse he took immediate action. He should be admired for being a great dad. He cares enough to fight for hid child.

If "snow removal" is a horrible thing for a parent to have their kid do, then my parents should be locked down! LOL!

On a serious note here I had a junkie got mad at me recently and called CPS (we are in Texas) on me claiming I was making my child do chores and so many that is constituted abuse. Didn't know asking my almost 5 year old child to fold towels is abuse. But the tooth ache issue is a big problem the child should not be in pain that long, a tooth ache is just one of those horrible pains.

Shoveling snow is abuse if you could be living on the beach in California with your multi millionaire father who dates porn stars, has some of the coolest friends in the world, can teach you how to fight, and did I mention huge house on the beach? Chuck has millions of dollars, case closed, the kid is moving in with his father who will provide for him. end of story.

Okay, so where was this great and loving dad for the 2-3 months of this supposed terrible toothache? It's bull****... No neglect, no abuse... Chucky just wants more money for his crack habit.
