Charlie Harper

Dies Tragic Death

6/27/2011 1:17 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

"Two and a Half Men" will turn dark for just a minute or two when it premieres in September ... because Alan and Jake will learn Charlie Harper bit the dust.

Sources connected with the show tell TMZ ... Chuck Lorre's plan is to make sure Charlie Sheen can NEVER come back on the show.  Although the first show won't be filmed until August 5, producers have been kicking around scenarios, which include Charlie driving a car over a cliff.

Of course, it would be art imitating life, because two of Charlie Sheen's cars went down a cliff on Mulholland Drive.

As for how Ashton Kutcher enters the picture, there's been talk that he buys Charlie's house after Charlie kicks the bucket.

Sources tell us ... the first script still isn't locked and Lorre often makes changes until close to taping, but it's pretty clear -- Charlie Harper is pushin' up daisies.

By the way I do have to agree with others posts, the person at TMZ who thought making it look like Charlie really died (especially with the recent deaths) was in very poor taste and should be admonished!

He's being "McLeaned". Somehow he will find his way to the Sea of Japan.

Maybe Mr. Sheen had something meaningful to say, when he was stating things about the producer of Two and Half Men. Killing Charlie Sheens' character off of the show indicates the producer was maybe the problem.

I still say Ashton should be introduced as Charlie's long lost illegitimate son. Lord knows his character (?) probably has a lot of them out there.

Why don't they send him to a mental institution, and when he gets there, Charlie is raped and killed by another crazy person? Still works.... Still is art imitating life. Just a suggestion.

You dont need to know

They butchered the show. This crap is going to last 2 and a half more seasons before it itself bites the dust.

That Lorre is a dumbass.

As much I understand why Chuck Lorre wants to kill off "Charlie Harper" by killing off that charector is a huge mistake.

What he should do is send Charlie Harper to prison when an IRS agent frtames him for sleeping with his daughter!!

I thought it was funny. Sheen probably breathed on a coke mirror to make sure he was still alive.

Oh geez, I was hoping there would be a NEW House written in, or at least remodel the old one. I love the beach, especially Malibu, but that same old tired decore?

I have an idea, Nick Lachey's bachelor pad is up for sale, why not buy that and film there? It's GORGEOUS!

So what, is that how Alan is going to meet Ashton, at Charlie's funeral, they foreclose on Charlie's house so Alan has to go live with Ashton Kutcher?

I don't like the idea of killing Charlie off. Maybe Chuck Lorre needs to rise about his personal feelings, think about the fans and the show.

Maybe Charlie can just be "Lost" like those folks in the show "Lost" and keep all options open.

Seems like a bad idea to me to kill him off. Why not leave the viewers thinking maybe someday he'll make a guest appearance once Chuck has had time to cool down. Wouldn't that keep them watching?

I think it would b e hilarious if some prankster stole Chuck Lorre's car and drove it off a cliff nearby where Charlie's cars have gone over.
