with Famous DJ

7/5/2011 5:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

It’s been 21 years since Milli Vanilli was exposed as a couple of lip-synchers -- but TMZ has learned, one half of the infamous duo is planning a revolutionary REAL-VOICE comeback ... with Eminem's DJ.

The DJ in question -- named The Alchemist -- dropped the bombshell in L.A. recently .. telling TMZ, "I'm working on a joint with Vanilli ... Vanilli's making a comeback."

And according to the Alchemist, Vanilli -- real name Fab Morvan -- is bringing his real voice to the recording sessions, adding, it's “real sh*t dude  … Alchemist-Vanilli.”

We spoke with Vanilli's rep -- who tells us Fab is DEFINITELY serious about his comeback ... and has recently worked with DJ Tiesto ... one of the biggest DJs in the world.

Hey, if the New Kids on the Block can do it ...

Firstly, I don't think anyone's wrongs, are worthy of suicide! What I would like to point out is that, although none of this was their idea, they, as consenting adults, agreed to be a part of one of the biggest scams in pop music history, so, I find it really hard to sympathise with them. Having said that, I don't believe they were given an opportunity to redeem themselves. When Rob Pilatus(?) died, not many people were sad, and that, makes me sad, he was another human being, that had lost his way so bad, death was the end result. The 'Real Milli Vanilli' weren't fat and ugly, they were by comparison to the models, slightly older, distinguished performers, very well dressed and spoken. What ****s me, is that so many other people have done it, and no-one cares, a couple of up and coming 'flash in the pan' wannabes do it, and the world is ready for war? Madonna, arguably the most successful female artist ever, and even The Rolling Stones lip synch, and I paid very good money to be presented with 2hrs of lip synching, did they or anyone care, no, so why get up in arms over Milli Vanilli? Really, I mean, with twits like Beiber invading our minds and souls, why are we worried about 40+ yr old 'never have beens', in all honesty, after curiosity, and the novelty of a DJ/retro partnership has waned, what is going to sell his music? Talent sure won't.....
