Church of Scientology

BLASTS LEAH REMINI

Over Missing Person Report

The Church of Scientology is spewing venom at Leah Remini for daring to file a report with the LAPD ... claiming the wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige is missing.

A Church rep claims Leah cooked up the allegation "with unemployed, anti-religious zealots."

Leah -- who broke ties with Scientology last month -- was alarmed that Shelly Miscavige hasn't been seen publicly in 6 years.  The LAPD closed out its investigation last night, and as TMZ first reported, cops say they had a face to face with Shelly.  They did not indicate if they probed as to whether Shelly was being held against her will.

The Church rep calls Leah's actions "an inexcusable distraction for the LAPD."

And the Church took this shot:  "Sadly, rather than move on with her life and career, Ms. Remini has aligned herself with a handful of untrustworthy, lunatic tabloid sources who obsessively harass the Church to advance their selfish agendas."

Someone is pissed.

Why would anyone put stock in what a cult has to say. I feel sorry for the people who believe in this. I mean space aliens, why not just idolize candy bars or something.

You ever notice everyone involved with Scientology is nutty look at Tom Cruise, Kirstie Alley, John Travolta and their friendly's Will and Jada Smith these people all have plenty of money and are crackpots to the core. Once they leave they are so mentally incapacitated and angry at what was done to them they immediately start an attack against Scientology just stay away all one has to do is look at those that are involved in one form or another that is all the proof anyone should need.

Unlike many celebrities, Leah Remini has kept a very low profile even tho she has a very successful TV show. It seems unlike her to make a strong statement unless she has a gut feeling that something is wrong with this picture.

It sorta seems suspicious that any "church" builds centres exclusively for celebs. Nope... something is just wrong with that group's entire approach

Her Imperial and Royal Majesty

The Church of Scientology issues an official statement using words like "lunatic" and "selfish agenda"? They sound like a bunch of little kids who get revenge by calling people names. Pathetic!

Applause! Keeping law enforcement busy with unfounded claims and attempts of harassment cleared points to fanaticism.

Seriously, would the Scientologists prefer that people who mysteriously vanish for 6 years NOT be reported to the police? All this chick had to do was make herself seen. I still think something is really off with this.
