Debbie Rowe To Testify

MJ Abused Propofol

12 Years Before Death

8/14/2013 7:40 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Michael Jackson was not only addicted to powerful drugs 12 years before he died ... at least twice in the late 90s doctors misused a drug similar to Propofol so MJ could sleep through the night ... and we've learned that's exactly what MJ's former wife Debbie Rowe will tell the jury today.

Sources familiar with Debbie Rowe's testimony tell TMZ ... Rowe -- who will be called to the stand by AEG Live -- views herself as a hostile witness, because she feels AEG is largely responsible for MJ's death.

We've learned Rowe will testify ... in 1997 doctors administered Diprivan (a form of Propofol) to Michael in a Munich, Germany hotel room.  We're told Rowe will say the drug was administered specifically so Michael could sleep.  There was a full medical staff present and MJ slept under the influence of the drug for 8 hours.  This occurred on 2 days, either consecutive or 1 day apart.

The testimony is significant because AEG is trying to show MJ was the master of his own fate and had misused Propofol for years.

But we've learned Rowe will also say while she was married to MJ she never saw him as a raging drug addict.  She will testify he was addicted to Demerol ... which he used to deal with the pain and anxiety from scalp surgeries after being horribly burned.  She says when she left Michael in July, 1997, he was not an out-of-control addict.  In fact, he had gone to rehab and was open about it.

As TMZ first reported, Rowe injected Michael in the buttocks with Demerol and Vistaril several times while she worked for Dr. Arnold Klein -- MJ's closest doctor and confidante.  Rowe had no idea in the last months of MJ's life Klein injected the singer with Demerol scores of times.

We've learned if asked ... Rowe will say she was horrified when she saw a TMZ video of Michael looking totally out of it as he left Dr. Klein's office days before he died.  The day MJ passed, Rowe will testify she called Klein and said, "You killed him.  What did you give him?"

We're told Rowe wants to tell the jury ... when the "This Is It" tour was announced and she heard the breakneck concert schedule, she told her shrink, "They're [AEG] gonna kill him."

How is it AEG's fault? Michael was using drugs long before them. At the end of the day, Michael was paying Dr. Murray to inject him with propofol. He killed himself. People can go around pointing fingers all they want, but in reality, Michael was the one paying money to have those drugs put in his body knowing the risks.

Ppl that have followed this trial have all said the same thing. They did NOT see MJ as a raging drug addict. They've all said MJ got severaly burned during pepsi commercial, had to take pain medications and became dependant on them for a while,.. they've all also said he knew it was a problem and seeked help for it (rehab and patches etc). If you have followd the trial you will see MJ was not an addict that seeked out these drugs in order to get high... doctors that testifed have all showed PROOF as in their medical records as why MJ needed these pain medications like Demerol... did it eventually go out of hand? In periods yes, but he had valid reasons to take these medications and experts/witnesses/doctors have all said he was not a raging drug addict.

This is getting so old. Michael Jackson was responsible for himself. If he couldn't handle the rigours of touring, he shouldn't have signed up. No-one forced him. He did it for the money and he couldn't handle it . His fault. The end. This nation is becoming a nation of self-pitying victims.

Oh yeah, right, he was not a ragging drug addict,

Neither was he a ragging pedophile, he only let it get out of hand when he just got overcome by his normal human nature sex drive from time to time right? he was flawed, but he was a human being too......

Michael Jackson trial: Pop star was 'tapped out,' millions in debt

By Jeff Gottlieb
August 12, 2013, 2:13 p.m.
Despite receiving millions of dollars annually from his song catalogs, Michael Jackson year after year spent more than he earned, including $30 million in annual debt payments, a forensic accountant testified Monday.

William R. Ackerman, testifying as a defense witness on behalf of AEG Live in the wrongful-death trial, offered a detailed look at the singer's finances, telling jurors that Jackson spent money on donations to charity, gifts, travel, art and furniture.

"He spent a lot of money on jewelry," Ackerman said with a chuckle.

Neverland Ranch -- which Ackerman called "a mini-theme park," with its maintenance staff, zoo and train that traveled around the property -- was also a huge drain on his income, the certified public accountant testified.

Still, he said, “consistently, his largest expenditure was interest expense. He spent a ton of money on interest.”

Jackson's biggest expense was $30 million in annual payments on his debt when he died in 2009.

Interest on the loans grew over the years, ranging from a little less than 7% to 16.8% annually, Ackerman said in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom.

As early as 1993, Jackson owed $30 million, a figure that grew to $140 million by 1998. From June 2001 through June 2009, Jackson's debt increased by about $170 million. When he died, Jackson owed $400 million to $500 million, Ackerman testified.

Ackerman said Jackson received no loans after 2007, and at the time of his death, he was three to four months behind on payments for the San Fernando Valley home where his mother lived.

"He was tapped out," Ackerman said.

The CPA is the latest high-priced expert to testify in the trial. Ackerman said his company has received $825,000 for its work on the trial. Concert promoter AEG Live has spent around $1.5 million on experts to testify about Jackson's financial condition, which could be a key factor in how much damages the firm could owe Jackson's mother and three children.

The Jacksons are suing AEG Live, claiming it negligently hired and supervised Conrad Murray, the doctor who administered the lethal dose of anesthetic to the singer as he prepared for his 50 comeback concerts in London.

AEG says Jackson hired the doctor and any payments the firm was supposed to make to Murray would have been advances to the pop star.

Jackson's debt has become a contentious issue during the trial, now in its fourth month. During testimony by a previous expert called by AEG, it was revealed that the Internal Revenue Service had valued Jackson's portion of the Sony/ATV song catalog as being worth hundreds of millions of dollars more than his total debt.

But Ackerman, whose testimony is continuing, said the singer was in a "precarious financial position."

He provided details of Jackson's 1985 purchase of the ATV music catalog, which contains many Beatles songs, for $49.5 million. Jackson merged it with Sony's catalog a decade later, receiving $115 million, along with a guaranteed $6.5 million a year, which was increased to $11 million annually in 2008.

The CPA also testified that Jackson's tours in the 1990s were not moneymakers. He said Jackson broke even on the Dangerous tour and lost $11.2 million on the HIStory tour.

How was that not MJ's fault?

If he didn't spend his money like a drunken sailor including paying greedy parents after molesting their little boys, he would not have to go hustling for money again at such senior age. He would not have to cheat death so people would pay him, millions on stage, despite the problems that he fully realized how a tour would drain his health.

He was just as greedy as all his family cling-ons. He wanted to make more money, for what? for another shipment of young little boys? But this time he was going to use a children's hospital as a lure and prey on sick children?

He never made money from his tours in actual fact he lost money because all the money he did make from touring was given to charity. If I remember correctly I don't think Celine Dion has ever given 300-400 million to charity.Thats the difference she kept her money he gave his away.

TMZ, there are some people who have seen pieces of what she knows, why do you think she is going to be a hostile witness? You are blowing things waaaaayyy out of proportions, which would't surprise me in the least. She has already given a deposition in two cases, so why would she divert from that? Time to stop the hysteria around here, no wonder people attack you and your crazy staff! And I am not talking about the bibber fanatics!

Maybe MJ was already an undead dead (!) since more than 12 years and his whitening skin was NOT the result of constant bleaching with Hydroquinone!!
The Propofol thing was just to keep him in a kind of 'fresh' Zombie condition...

Jackson was so broke he needed money. Jackson approached AEG not the other way around. Jackson knew damn well he was in no shape to do a single concert let alone a tour. Jackson lied through his teeth. As soon as all his demands were met that included Dr. Murray right back to staying wasted.

The only one who killed Michael Jackson was Jackson himself. Murray was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and took the hit for what jackson did to himself.

Jackson was a hard core junkie for over 25 years and everyone knew it espically his family. Jackson was using propfol since the late '80s.

Jackson had 19 known names to get his drugs. Jackson the entertainer on stage was not was not the same man off stage.

Murray may have needed money but Jackson needed Murray for his clean script pads for his propofol.

Trying to blame AEG as well is such a total joke. Jackson was so out of it when he made the tour announcement he wasted he barely made 1 rehearsal and bellied up. Jackson once upon a time was kick ass but that was many years ago. The man turned himself into a freak.

Sad but Jackson did this to himself.
