Charlie Sheen

Grants Last Wish for Cancer Patient

11/28/2013 12:30 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Charlie Sheen
single-handedly organized and paid for a cancer patient's greatest wish -- to hang with the actor.

Marion Minchuk is a cancer patient who has been told he has a month to live.  Marion got in touch with Charlie's people and asked if there was any way he could meet him before he died.

Charlie invited Marion to L.A. ... he lives in Arizona.  Charlie paid for 3 first class tickets -- for Marion, his GF and his nurse.  He put them up at the Presidential Suite and the Universal Hilton.

Charlie took the 3 to the set of "Anger Management" where Marion got to sit in Charlie's chair -- it's a thing on the show.

Charlie then took Marion to his home, where a chef made lunch for the group and they went to the screening room to watch "Gravity."

Charlie signed an "Anger Management" script and signed a DVD of "Wall Street."

Marion was beyond excited.

Two thumbs up for Charlie. I know some people find it distasteful that Charlie's acts of charity get front page coverage here at TMZ, but who cares. People are getting helped and that is all that matters. Perhaps the coverage will inspire others to be more charitable and that would be a very good thing.

And as a side note, Marion does not look like an individual with only a month to live. I am in no way suggesting he is being deceptive, but I do think his doctor may have been mistaken on his "expiration date". Let's hope the doctor was wrong, because nobody should die at Christmas time.

I think it was sweet of him to make someone dieing wish come true, even if it is for a publicity stunt or not who knows it was the thought that counted for that person.

I love this gesture and I'm sure his heart was in the right place and he's trying hard to mend his ways and be on the right path. However, sitting in front of a man who has one month to live because of cancer with an ashtray and a pack of cigarettes is a little disrespectful, don't you think.

That was Very Cool what you did. The flights, the set, the chair.... just all of it.
Well Done for making that man's wish come true.
Yet one question......

Why can't you act that honorable when it comes to your OWN CHILDREN???

Maybe your CHARITY needs to start at HOME
with you FAMILY.

I love Charlie. He's a cutie, one with demons, no doubt, but still a great guy . So cute kissing the Marion's head.

Hey Charlie, I think you are one of the greatest and am one of your Cheerleaders back in Kansas City, Kansas. What you did for Maron Minchunk was tops. And if you want to spend some money on making a guy's with come true - nothing wrong with that and if you should get some good press out of it - all the more better. I don't know why anyone would begrude you that! By the way, I am 71 years old and appreciate life and glad to see someone else appreciate it too.

Most celebrities would probably send a photo of themselves. Charlie went above and beyond anything this guy was expecting. It's nice that he seems to actually care about people. You're a class act Charlie Sheen. Keep Winning!

It's nice to hear these stories when a star makes a difference to someones life. This is not only great for the ill man, but all his loves ones can have peace knowing he was so happy at the end of his life.
