Paul Walker will be remembered by thousands of auto enthusiasts this weekend with a huge, noisy car rally ... but TMZ has learned law enforcement will be out in force ... gunning for any reckless drivers.

The car meet is scheduled to begin at noon on Hercules Street ... near the spot where Walker and Roger Rodas died in the fiery crash of their Porsche Carrera GT last weekend.

More than 20,000 people are expected to show up -- that's a lot of vehicles. City officials are urging locals to avoid the area altogether.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ they'll be ready for trouble, too ... with a highly visible police presence to make sure the event goes off safely.

We're told ... anyone caught doing burnouts or driving recklessly will be cited ... and could have their car impounded on the spot.

Oh lord, all of you pathetic old hags that have nothing better to do than nag... this is what Paul loved. This is a perfect tribute for him. It's a celebration of his life and cars was part of it. No one is asking you to go, yet you still complain. All of you people that nag are always the ones that end up getting cheated on by their spouses cause of the lack of enjoyment In life. If you don't like this idea of the car rally then simply click on another page and complain to someone who really cares. Us Paul fans know what he really loved-

First of all.Paul Walker was not driving.Mr.Rojas was and I'm very mad at him for being another person who took an innocent life with them because of trying to be macho on the road.Im sad hes gone too but the way people don't respect the rules of the road hurts me.So many lives lost that didn't need to be.Also,in the age of entertainment now which by the way I am in,to find a person who is so humble and kind and not shamelessly self promosting and arrogant is a real find.Paul Walker should be getting all of this attention.I met him years ago on an acting tryout for Young And The Restless. He was in line after me and he said "go get them kid.Knock it out of the park" even tho I think we were competing for the same role.He was an awesome person and I'm glad that is what is getting most of the attention.People don't need to hate.No one should judge any one elses pain or grief.

Great idea to pay tribute to 2 men who's first loves were cars, but in all reality this rally probably won't go very smoothly.

Great idea, as paul and roger were both professional car drivers. Paul has stated that he only has the need for speed on the race track. And so i think if all the rev heads going respect that it should be a smooth rally. x

FIRST OF ALL,THIS IS NOT A RACE IT IS A TRIBUTE TO A MAN WHO LOVED CARS AND WHAT BETTER WAY TO HAVE A PUBLIC SENDOFF THEN TO GATHER ALL OF US TOGETHER TASTFULLY WITH SOME OF THE SAME CARS PAUL HIMSELF WAS AROUND AND LOVED. THIS WILL NOT BE A BATTLE OF WHO HAS THE BIGGEST BADDEST PIECE OF METAL BUT A RIDE INTO THE SUNSET ENGINES ROARING HEADLIGHTS BLAIRING. GOD BLESS YOU PAUL WALKER AND EVERYONE YOU HAVE TOUCHED ONSCREEN AND OFF FANS INCLUDED. #RIPPaulkerAndRogarRodas

Am I the only one that 1.) doesn't know who he is, 2.) is not a fan, or 3.) thinks TMZ is completely exploiting this? God forbid you would to this coverage for a soldier or civil servant who dies in the line of duty. Enough already. People die every day. Where's you Nelson Mandella coverage? Oh wait, yea, only one little blurb... You guys are losing it.

Let's be real. Yes it is sad but you have to be pretty damn reckless to lose control of a high end Porsche which has extremely good handling. And for it to catch fire after hitting a relatively small tree tells me that even more so. The saddest part is the disregard for the safety of the passenger who's family will also be forever affected. This is about as ironic as it gets. Die doing what the subject of the movies are all about - stupid street racing. People have been dying via speeding/street racing by trying to mimic all the Fast and Furious movies for years. Now that one of the main stars of the movie has been killed doing it, maybe Hollywood and the fans will finally say enough is enough. with the Fast and Furious sequels and men in their 40's trying to act like they still in their 20's.
