Martin Luther King III says he and Donald Trump were able to find some common ground on a day dedicated to his late father.
We got the famous civil rights leader's eldest living son Monday leaving Trump Tower, after he and the Prez-elect sat down for a heart-to-heart. He says they both agree ... the voting system in the country is broken.
He also touches on a big what-if about his dad ... one lots of folks are wondering about on MLK Day.
Jimmy Snuka, the WWE Hall of Famer, has died after losing his battle to stomach cancer.
Jimmy wrestled from the 1970s onward ... all the way through 2010. Jimmy came into the WWE as a heel, and became famous for his acrobatic wrestling style. He eventually turned and became a good guy. He had a number of shots at the WWE championship -- both as a villain and hero -- but never won.
The Fijian wrestler, also known as Superfly Snuka, would often punish his opponents with his signature move -- the Superfly Splash ... which was an epic body slam.
Jimmy was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996, while continuing to wrestle. He was managed by the famed Captain Lou Albano.
Jimmy's daughter, Tamina, who's also a WWE superstar, just tweeted, "I LOVE YOU DAD." The Rock also said in Samoan, "Alofa atu i le aiga atoa" which means, "Family is forever."
Snuka was charged with 3rd degree murder in 2015 in connection to the 1983 death of his then-girlfriend Nancy Argentino. The charges were dismissed just 12 days ago, after the judge determined he had dementia and terminal cancer ... and was about to die.
He reportedly last wrestled in 2014 ... in a cage match. Jimmy died Sunday at the age of 73.
Some of pro wrestling's greatest are sending their love ...
Mike Posner's father passed away last week, and his son honored him by performing at his funeral ... after revealing the man had cancer last year on TV.
Mike's dad, Jon, died last Wednesday from his months-long battle with cancer at the age of 73 -- and Mike chose to remember him in song by covering a classic.
The singer performed Bright Eyes' "First Day Of My Life" in front of an audience Friday at the Ira Kaufman Chapel in Southfield, Michigan, where Jon was an attorney.
Back in May, Mike had alluded to his father's illness while performing on "Conan," where he changed the lyrics to his hit song "I Took a Pill in Ibiza" to ...
And my dad has cancer I'm still wrapping my head 'round that Sat by the hospital bed, nurses poked in their heads And asked me to sign autographs And my dad has cancer! I shouldn't be here, I should be home But in case you couldn't tell, I'm busy playing myself In this little Mike Posner show
Tupac Shakur's ticket stub to the Mike Tyson fight he attended the night he was shot has been in very few hands since then, but now it could be in yours ... if ya got a lot o' cash.
Tupac was at the Tyson-Bruce Seldon fight Sept. 7, 1996 at the MGM Grand in Vegas, and after a first round KO by Iron Mike, he allegedly handed his ticket stub to a man and said ... "Here you go boy, enjoy this."
The ticket stub was later bought by a guy who verified it was indeed the rapper's. Now he's looking to sell one of the last items 'Pac ever touched to the highest bidder. Shortly after Tyson's fight, he and Suge Knight famously brawled with rivals in a lobby, then drove off and got shot.
Goldin Auctions owner Ken Goldin thinks the ticket will fetch at least $25,000.
'Star Wars' fans can rest easy ... Lucasfilm says they have no plans to digitally recreate Carrie Fisher's performance as Princess or Gen. Leia Organa in upcoming films.
The company issued the statement to assure fans they will always strive to honor her legacy, and that does not include using digital effects. They add ... "Carrie Fisher was, is and will always be a part of the Lucasfilm family ... We are still hurting from her loss."
As we previously reported, Carrie's last film was not compromised as the result of her death ... she was completely done shooting her scenes for "Star Wars: Episode VIII."
Former Megadeth drummer Nick Menza's mom is now calling the shots for his estate, and we've learned what caused his death.
Nick's mom, Rose, filed legal docs to be named administrator of the estate, which means she's now in line to collect any royalties owed to her son ... who spent more than a decade with Megadeth in its peak years.
As we first reported, Nick died after collapsing onstage last May during a gig in Los Angeles.
Rose filed Nick's death certificate in probate court ... and according to the docs his cause of death was heart disease and blood pressure.
A bed frame from Sharon Tate's home -- where one of Charles Manson's famous victims slept almost 50 years ago -- is up for auction ... if you're into that sorta thing.
The wooden bed frame belonged to Abigail Folger ... the coffee heiress who lived with Tate. She was lying in the bed moments before she was chased out of the room at knifepoint by one of Manson's followers, and stabbed 28 times.
Crime scene pics of the bed are featured in the book, 'Helter Skelter' -- and Ole Hound Auction House expects it to fetch up to $5k, but it's hard to estimate because they've never sold such a unique piece.
And there's this morbid thought -- we're told the frame's price could jump up significantly if Manson dies before February 10 ... the day it hits the auction block.
Carrie Fisher's death certificate confirms what we told you more than a week ago -- the reason her heart stopped beating remains a mystery.
TMZ just obtained the official document, which lists the cause of death as "cardiac arrest/deferred." Translation: the L.A. County Coroner's Office needs to do more testing to pinpoint the trigger for the massive heart attack she suffered on the United flight.
We're told toxicology tests will be performed to determine if there were any drugs in her system that could have contributed to Carrie's death.
