NBA champion Elden Campbell's cause of death has been revealed ... with officials telling TMZ Sports the former Laker died due to an accidental drowning.

The medical examiner in Florida says Campbell -- who was 57 years old -- was pronounced deceased at 8:03 PM on December 1.

The news of his tragic death was first announced by his former teammates and professional and college organizations.

Texas A&M Student Postgame Death Officially Ruled Suicide

The Texas A&M student who was found dead after the school's football game against the University of Texas died by suicide ... according to the Austin Police Department.

Remember ... Brianna Aguilera -- a 19-year-old student at the university -- was found outside a campus apartment complex around 1 AM Saturday, hours after A&M's 27-17 Friday night loss against rival Texas.

Detective Robert Marshall of APD says she was found with trauma from an apparent fall from a high floor. Cameras showed Brianna arriving at the apartment building around 11 PM Friday before heading up to a 17th-floor apartment.

Utah Tech Basketball Player Punches Opponent Mid-Game After Getting Dunked On

A college basketball player got brutally posterized in the middle of a game on Wednesday ... and apparently decided to get even by punching his opponent in a crazy scene.

It went down at the Leavey Center with just over a minute left in the Utah Tech Trailblazers vs. Santa Clara Broncos contest ... when SC's Allen Graves threw down a one-handed dunk.

What made the dunk even crazier is that Graves did it right over UT's Chase Trujillo, who tried -- and epically failed -- to block it. Let's just say Trujillo didn't seem thrilled that Graves made a highlight at his expense.

The former UFC fighter shared a series of photos where she's decked out in the tiny neon orange 2-piece ... pulling on the string connecting the two cups of the thin material and puckering up her lips as she poses for the camera.

PVZ wore a shirt on top of the bikini ... but pulled it up so it basically only kept her shoulders warm instead of providing any sort of adequate coverage. It especially didn't cover her when she leaned forward as she did in this picture.

Siena College Lacrosse Head Coach Liam Gleason Dead at 41

Liam Gleason, the head coach of the Siena College men's lacrosse team, has died.

The Upstate New York college said in an official statement Gleason died Wednesday after suffering injuries in an accident at his home Sunday. Gleason had just celebrated his birthday last Friday.

Siena University -- the college became a university this summer -- President Chuck Seifert said the late coach was "universally loved and admired" by the college community, and said the pain the community feels "defies understanding."

Gleason attended the University at Albany, where he spent time on the lacrosse team. He began his coaching career at Siena, where he worked as the lacrosse team's defensive coordinator from 2008 to 2010.

He later returned to his alma mater and served as Albany's associate head coach from 2012 until 2018, helping lead the team to six NCAA Tournament appearances.

Gleason was hired as Siena's head coach in 2018, and the Saints went on to win the 2025 MAAC Championships.

Gleason is survived by his wife Jaclyn, daughter Kennedy, and sons Penn and Tate.

He was just 41 years old.

The L.A. Clippers played their first game after Chris Paul's surprise departure on Wednesday ... but the future Hall of Famer was on the home crowd's minds -- with Atlanta Hawks fans hurling chants asking where the heck CP3 was during the game!!

A group of Hawks backers broke out in the jeers while Ivica Zubac was at the free-throw line for L.A. ... with "Where's Chris Paul?" clearly ringing through the arena.

Luckily for Zubac, it didn't have much effect ... as he made both shots from the line. The biggest news of the day also didn't hurt the Clippers' play ... as they went on to get the 115-92 win against Atlanta.

Cops responded to a call for a verbal dispute at Iman Shumpert's home last week ... in which a woman claimed the ex-NBA star hit her -- but a separate witness told officers that never happened.

TMZ Sports has obtained a report regarding the Nov. 26 incident ... with cops stating they were dispatched to Iman's Atlanta residence around 4:37 AM.

Carter Hart -- who was acquitted of sexual assault in a Canadian court this summer -- made his return to the NHL ice with the Golden Knights on Tuesday, describing the moment as "amazing" after nearly two years away from the league.

Hart, a goalie, shined in Las Vegas' 4-3 win over the Blackhawks Tuesday night in Sin City, making 27 saves on 30 shots, including six in overtime. After the final horn sounded, the team mobbed Hart just beyond the net.
