Hot Model Sues Playboy Caused Me Serious Labor Pains
A model who worked for Playboy for two days is suing the magazine for $225,000 ... all because she says the company didn't pay her on time.
According to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this month, Sarah Stage claims she worked for Playboy on November 23-24, 2009 and the two sides agreed she would be paid $15,000 for her work.
Stage says Playboy agreed to pay her immediately ... but she didn't see a dime for weeks. Instead Sarah claims she had to repeatedly pester Playboy for her money until they finally cut her a check on January 11, 2010.
Stage claims that California Labor Law entitles her to 30 days worth of late penalties -- which would be her daily rates times 30 -- for a whopping $225,000 in late fees.
Stage is looking for the six-figure payout, plus attorney's fees and costs.
FUN FACT -- If Stage looks familiar to you, that's because she was one of Sacha Baron Cohen's "bodyguards" (the one on the right) when he "accidentally" spilled ash all over Ryan Seacrest at the Oscars. The more you know.
