Johnny Manziel: Ex-Girlfriend Colleen Crowley Gets Protective Order

Johnny Manziel's ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley is still in fear after the alleged hitting incident -- so much so, she went to court to get protection from Manziel.

Colleen is a student at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, and TCU PD's Detective Rangel tells TMZ Sports, his department has been notified Crowley has a protective order against her ex.

It's unclear exactly when Crowley filed for the protective order, but WFAA in Dallas says a Tarrant County judge found reason to believe "family violence" had occurred ... so the protection was necessary.
