Running Company Releases First Beer Mile Shoe
Beer Mile Former Record Holder Gets Signature Shoe!!
It might be time to start taking the Beer Mile race seriously ... 'cause former world record holder Lewis Kent just released his OWN signature shoe with Brooks Running.
Kent -- the first competitor to dominate the sport -- signed a deal with Brooks back in November 2015 ... and now he's come out with the very first Beer Mile shoe.
Called the Beer Mile Hyperion -- it features a maple leaf on the heels (to honor Kent's Canadian roots) and the outsole is "formulated for premium wet-dry traction and skid resistance" ... perfect for running through spilled beer.
Kent will rock the new kicks at the FloTrack Beer Mile World Championships this weekend when he tries to take back the world record from current holder Corey Bellemore ... who just signed a deal with Adidas.
Talk about competing on AND off the track!!
