Senator Cory Booker Hangs in L.A. During Government Shutdown

Senator Cory Booker is more than 2,000 miles from work, chillin' at a swanky L.A. hotel for a little breakfast.

The New Jersey Senator was hanging with his wife at the restaurant inside The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills. They were photographed around 9:30 AM Thursday, and it looks like they may have finished a workout.

The hotel is one of L.A.'s finest, fit certainly for a Senator who is on his Spring Break.

True to his name, Booker is on a book tour ... he's scheduled to appear Friday night in Santa Monica.

As you know, TMZ has put the word out that we want photos and videos of the 535 members of Congress, most of whom ditched D.C. for various places around the world -- from Disney World to Scotland and everywhere in between.

These members of Congress were ALL unable to reach a compromise to keep the government open, and their failure has resulted in thousands of federal workers going without pay for more than 6 weeks.
