Need your heart rate up without leaving the couch? Two masked daredevils climbed to the very top of the Empire State Building for a proposal ... then got arrested the moment they were back on the ground.
The jaw-dropping stunt is all on video -- famed "rooftoppers" Ivan Beerkus and Angela Nikolau are seen making out atop the iconic skyscraper while holding a sign reading, "When the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace."

Despite cops moving in fast, the couple wasted no time celebrating -- sharing photos of the proposal on IG, including a close-up of the ring and the moment Ivan dropped to one knee.
TMZ has learned no injuries were reported. Charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
There are definitely easier ways to pop the question ... but for two people who've built careers dangling from dizzying heights, scaling the 1,454-foot landmark was clearly the perfect way to mark the occasion.
Exactly how they pulled it off remains a mystery, but one thing's clear -- they made sure their proposal, and their message of love, couldn't be missed.
