Mohamed Hadid's apologizing for racist and homophobic direct messages he sent to Congressman Ritchie Torres ... while still criticizing Torres for supporting Israel.

The real estate developer -- and father to Gigi and Bella Hadid -- posted to Instagram to address DMs he sent to the congressman ... revealed by the New York Post Saturday.

Among the unsavory insults ... Mohamed said Ritchie was dumber than New York sewer rats, said he should dress in a KKK hood to cover his face and he might be qualified to be a bouncer at a gay bar.

Hilary Swank says all actors are pretending ... so, she's for non-trans actors playing trans characters and vice versa -- at least, it seems that's what she's saying.

The two-time Oscar winner famously won her first back in 2000 after playing trans man Brandon Teena in the biopic "Boys Don't Cry" and reflected on the role in an interview with The Times of London.

While breaking down her part in the film, Swank acknowledges she wouldn't take the role today, saying her part in it was a sign of the times and adding a trans actor could really sink their teeth into the Brandon role today.

The country star -- who cops arrested after he allegedly threw a chair off a downtown bar's roof -- posted to X Friday, saying he didn't wanna speak out on this until he did a few things first ... including making good with the people he feels he's harmed.

Adele fans are voicing their frustration with Rolling Stone after a writer for their German edition claimed Taylor Swift is the better artist between the two.

As Taylor's new album, "The Tortured Poets Department," hit shelves and streaming services Friday, writer Ralf Niemczyk penned a review for Rolling Stone Germany -- with a headline that read, "Taylor Swift: 'The Tortured Poets Department' - the better Adele."

The Brazilian woman arrested for trying to "Weekend at Bernie's" her uncle's corpse at a bank apparently brought the body with her in a taxi beforehand ... and it's on video.

Erika de Souza Vieira Nunes was caught on surveillance footage not long before she rolled into the bank and tried applying for a loan with her deceased relative. As you can see, she is seen setting up a wheelchair outside a taxi cab -- where she enlists the driver's help to lift her uncle's lifeless body out of the front passenger seat.

After placing her uncle, Paulo Roberto Braga, in the wheelchair, the driver shuts the car door and bounces. Erika is seen paying the driver, as Paulo's gaunt body droops over the side.

An Indiana Fever reporter is being dragged for how he interacted with Caitlin Clark on Wednesday ... with many fans blasting the journalist for the way he shot a cringeworthy comment at the WNBA's newest star.

Tyler Campanella -- the former 'Real Housewives' star's stepson -- was taken into custody in New York City Wednesday and booked on five misdemeanor charges, according to NBC News.

The feds claim Campanella's stepmom posted pictures of him from inside the Capitol Building alongside the caption, "I love patriots so much. Stay safe Tyler. We love you.”

Jontay Porter has just been banned from the NBA for LIFE ... after league officials say the Toronto Raptors player not only bet on his own team to lose, but also manipulated his play to tip the scales in his favor!

Adam Silver just announced the historic punishment on Wednesday ... explaining league investigators discovered that in March, Porter took part in a gambling scheme that ultimately called into question the integrity of the NBA's competition.

They claim the 24-year-old gave confidential information about his health to at least one known bettor. They say another bettor Porter knew then placed an $80K wager that Porter "would underperform" in the Raptors' March 20 tilt with the Sacramento Kings.

Riley Strain's family just dragged his fraternity brothers through the coals on national TV -- claiming they didn't seem to care that he'd gone missing ... allegedly going partying instead.

The late 22-year-old's mother, father and stepfather did an interview with NewsNation Tuesday night -- and much of the 15-minute segment was dedicated to slamming Riley's fellow Delta Chi members who were with him the night he went missing in Nashville.

According to the family, they didn't notify cops about Riley until the next day ... and they go on to claim that when the family showed up, they continued on with their itinerary.
