"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Erika Jayne is being put on notice by the court handling her divorce from her estranged husband, Tom Girardi ... wrap up the case, or it gets thrown out.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, a hearing was set for early next year, where Erika and Tom were ordered to appear in court and give a good reason for what's taking so long with the divorce.

The parties were warned to explain why the case has been stalled for years … and if it's not convincing, the case will be dismissed with no final judgment.

Brenda Dickson just scored a victory in court ... a judge just tossed the case tied to the alleged altercation that landed the former soap star in handcuffs.

As TMZ previously reported ... "The Young and the Restless" alum was arrested for misdemeanor battery in July after cops were called to a Hollywood property over an alleged assault. Brenda told us she was falsely arrested.

At the time, it wasn't clear who Brenda allegedly hit or what led up to the arrest ... but new court docs in a related request for a civil harassment restraining order obtained by TMZ fill in some of those blanks.

Porn Star Christian Styles' death is now under police investigation ... and cops say his family contacted them to respond to his Michigan home, TMZ has learned.

Canton Township Police Chief Joseph Bialy tells TMZ ... officers went to Christian's residence on Saturday afternoon after receiving a report of a "non-responsive adult male." Bialy wouldn't say who found the body, but he did confirm Christian's family called police.

The chief also said his department launched a death investigation with the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office to determine how Christian died. The Medical Examiner took possession of his body to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.

3:19 PM PT -- Brittany Romano responded to the developments with a lengthy message on Instagram ... saying in part, "I am a credentialed, freelance journalist, and Vanity Fair allegedly told TMZ they revoked my access over the smile, which is absurd, since I never had a contract with them for a piece to begin with."

The Vanity Fair reporter who went viral for her unsettling grin and wink during the Lindsay Clancy murder trial has to find something new to smile about ... because the outlet has called off the essay from her they planned on running.

A spokesperson for VF's parent company, Condé Nast, tells TMZ ... "We were interested in the prospect of a personal essay by Brittany Romano about her experience growing up with Lindsay Clancy. Yesterday, after clear conflicts with our editorial standards and processes, we informed Romano that we were not moving forward with her essay and informed the court that she is no longer credentialed by Vanity Fair."

Romano went viral on Monday, when a camera panning the courtroom caught her in the front row of the gallery ... she mugged for the camera, with a super creepy smile ... and even freaking winked.

Mary Mary's Trecina "Tina" Campbell claims she's bringing in less than goes out the door every month as she fights her estranged husband, Glendon "Teddy" Campbell, in divorce court ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, the gospel singer said she works around 20 hours per week and pulls in around $4,976 each month.

The 52-year-old singer said her ex pulls in around $7,500 per month as a drummer.

The mother of Samuel Monroe Jr. -- the actor who has been hospitalized in Los Angeles on life support for months -- says he's been living with her for years ... and she's now asking a judge to put her in charge of his decisions ... instead of the woman who says she's his wife.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ ... Joyce Patton filed a petition asking to establish a conservatorship for her son ... questioning whether he was ever legally married to his children's mother, Shawna Stewart.

Joyce also claims ... Sam has not lived with Shawna in more than 15 years -- and says for the past four years, he has been living with her.

While the photo may raise questions about Kim's living situation, sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ she's not homeless. We're told Kyle helped Kim secure a place in the Santa Monica area near the beach.

Rashod Bateman's baby mama told a prosecutor days after their June incident that he never shoved her into a wall or put his hands on her ... walking back the account she initially gave cops.

Marissa Crumley authorized Bateman's attorneys to provide TMZ with the email she sent on June 8, five days after the alleged incident, in which she said she wanted to explain the "true side of the story."

Crumley wrote that officers pressured her into identifying Bateman and invaded her privacy by lifting her head wrap to photograph marks on her face. She claimed the bruises and marks were self-inflicted "out of emotion and frustration."

The WNBA has no plans to ban former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom from coming to games as a fan ... even though he was ejected from a Chicago Sky game after a heated exchange with Natasha Cloud.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... the plan inside the league is to try and move on and let the controversy die. We're told the league felt a ban wasn't warranted because Enes didn't set foot on the court and he didn't do anything else that was egregious.

Sam Altman and his sister are going back and forth in court over her submitting to a medical examination over her claims of childhood abuse ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, Ann Altman is opposing the upcoming exam scheduled for August 26, claiming the conditions and scope of the exam were disclosed less than a week beforehand.

She said she never agreed to talk about anything other than her claims of suffering from PTSD, but says the doctor set to examine her is planning to assess "any mental disorder."

Anna Kepner's stepbrother, Timothy Hudson, is asking the court to postpone his murder trial for her death aboard a cruise ship ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Timothy claims his lawyers need more time to get their ducks in a row before the upcoming September trial date.

Timothy's lawyers say they need to do more research, including looking into their client's status as a juvenile and the "different considerations that apply to him and "the unique -- and very unfortunate -- family dynamic that has resulted from the allegations here."

Sonya Massey's family is speaking out after Sean Grayson's death ... they feel justice wasn't served and wish Sonya's killer had spent a lot more time behind bars.

Sonya's cousin, Sontae Massey, tells TMZ ... the family was devastated and frustrated they weren't notified directly and had to learn about Grayson's death online.

Grayson is the former Illinois sheriff's deputy who shot and killed her after she called 911 in July 2024 to report someone lurking outside her home.

Sontae says he gathered Sonya's mother, son, and daughter to tell them ... but they initially didn't believe him, telling us "they want to see his body."

Brandon Clarke had an unknown white powder, Narcan, syringes and a slew of medications inside his home when he was found dead ... TMZ has learned.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's report, investigators found vape devices, cannabis products, prescription medications, injectable peptides, syringes and a box of Narcan inside Clarke's bedroom and attached bathroom.

Investigators also found a plate containing an unknown white powdery substance on the kitchen island ... along with a hotel key card.

McKenna West is firing back at the biological parents of baby "Gabriel" ... denying their claim that she is trying to get child support from them ... TMZ has learned.

In new court docs, Nausheen Gilkar and Omar Ahmed, the California couple who hired McKenna to be their surrogate for the child they call "Rumi," claim McKenna wants them to pay child support.

They also claim her lawyer requested they cover her legal fees and support.

They note, however, that McKenna has not made any allegations that they are unfit parents.
