McKenna West Allegedly Seeking Child Support From Baby's Biological Parents, She Denies It

McKenna West is firing back at the biological parents of baby "Gabriel" ... denying their claim that she is trying to get child support from them ... TMZ has learned.

In new court docs, Nausheen Gilkar and Omar Ahmed, the California couple who hired McKenna to be their surrogate for the child they call "Rumi," claim McKenna wants them to pay child support.

They also claim her lawyer requested they cover her legal fees and support.

They note, however, that McKenna has not made any allegations that they are unfit parents.

As TMZ previously reported, McKenna flew to Texas to have the baby after Nausheen and Omar demanded the kid be aborted due to a heart defect, making the request under the terms of their surrogacy contract.

McKenna now wants the kid ... despite Nausheen and Omar claiming they want their son and plan to care for the child and navigate his health issues.

In the new filing, the biological parents claim McKenna has failed to explain "why an unwed, unemployed mother of two small children with no health insurance – who is using these facts to support her online fundraising website – is in a better position to care for Rumi than his married, biological parents who are desperately trying to focus on their critically ill child."

In response, McKenna denied that she is seeking child support from Nausheen and Omar.

Her lawyer says Nausheen and Omar are relying on a "never-filed, mistakenly circulated, and quickly retracted initial draft" of a document to make the allegation ... but McKenna's legal team says that document says nothing about child support.

She insists she is simply asking for temporary orders from the court to ensure the child receives "the life-sustaining care he needs."
