TMZ ha obtenido documentos legales que muestran que Chris está involucrado en un enfrentamiento con alguien llamado Helen Yu -que vive al lado de él en las colinas de Hollywood- y que ha presentado una demanda en su contra, por lo que ella afirma es la destrucción de su propiedad debido a unos árboles.

Chris Pine's in a court battle with his neighbor over the roots he's put down in L.A. -- roots that are allegedly infiltrating this woman's backyard ... and we mean that quite literally.

TMZ has obtained legal docs that show Chris ensnared in a showdown with music attorney Helen Yu -- who lives next door to him in the Hollywood Hills ... and who's brought action against him for what she claims is destruction of her property due to his trees.

Long story short ... Yu alleges Chris has planted at least a dozen ficus trees at the border of his own home, but because these pesky plants have out-of-control roots ... she claims they've started to spread and encroach on her own parcel, and it's ruining her yard.

Britney Spears is back to attacking her little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears -- out here calling her a "bitch" ... this while going on and on about things that just don't make sense.

The pop star posted a few since-deleted videos to her Instagram Story Tuesday, which features her in the passenger seat of a car ... with three other people with her, including what appears to be her assistant -- at least that's how Brit describes her anyway.

The footage is strange ... the group is going up the side of some mountain, following a Jeep that seems to be leading them somewhere remote. Britney and the gang say they're going horseback riding -- which, if accurate, jibes with other posts of hers from earlier in the week.

"I feel like Jake is just faster, he's younger," Pump said of the July 20 event while at LAX. "Obviously, Mike's got experience, but Jake's gonna do what Jake's gonna do. It's gonna be a very interesting fight ... but Jake got this one."

The "Gucci Gang" rapper knows firsthand what the 27-year-old former Disney star is capable of -- after all, he took a vicious liver shot after recording an episode of the "BS w/ Jake Paul" podcast earlier this month.

Islam Makhachev is putting his lightweight title on the line at UFC 302 ... but, it's a low-risk fight according to the champ, who tells us he's an awful stylistic matchup for Dustin Poirier.

"[Dustin's] problem is his style. That's one problem the guy has. His weak point is wrestling and grappling," 32-year-old Makhachev told TMZ Sports, adding, I have the key for the easy fight. And I think if I follow the plan, I can beat him easy."

Poirier is regarded as a well-rounded fighter who is a great striker, and solid on the ground ... which happens to be the area where Makhachev excels.

Eddie Hearn isn't blaming Devin Haney's footwear choice for his loss to Ryan Garcia ... but he does seem to regret the move just a little bit -- telling TMZ Sports it was "maybe" not a good idea for "The Dream" to rock Fear of God boots for the fight.

Many boxing fans took notice of Haney's Ugg boot-esque kicks for last Saturday's bout ... speculating whether he had enough support to compete against Garcia.

Hearn shuts down all that talk ... saying Haney was well-equipped in the ring.
