Aaron Rodgers hasn't made a Pro Bowl in three seasons, but Brett Favre is adamant the quarterback isn't washed ... telling TMZ Sports his former teammate "still has the potential to lead a team to the Super Bowl."

"He can still play," Favre insisted during a recent sitdown. "There's no question."

If Rodgers can still be elite, he'll have to prove it in a different uniform this year ... as he left the Jets this offseason to sign with the Steelers.

A.J. Brown's gone from reading Jim Murphy's words to hearing them in person ... the Philadelphia Eagles superstar just had a face-to-face meeting with his favorite author!!

The get-together happened on Friday at the Eagles' NovaCare Complex -- less than a week after Brown sent the internet into a tizzy for reading Murphy's "Inner Excellence" on the bench of Philadelphia's 22-10 playoff win over Green Bay.

Murphy was reportedly in the building for an interview about Brown's now-viral moment ... and at least one journalist captured them chopping it up in a hallway.

The Eagles fan who berated a female Packers supporter in Philly is officially out of a job ... with the hotheads' now-former employer calling out his behavior ... while also knocking people who have trashed their business online!

TMZ Sports spoke to BCT Partners co-founders Lawrence Hibbert and Dr. Randal Pinkett -- who appeared on Season 4 of The Apprentice -- who slammed ex-project manager Ryan Caldwell for his actions in a now-viral video where he called the Green Bay fan a "dumb ugly c***."

"I can't say enough about how abhorrent the behavior that we observed was and how upset I was in seeing someone who was at the time associated with our company displaying that kind of behavior," Pinkett said.

The Philadelphia Eagles fan who berated a Packers supporter during Sunday's playoff game is out of the job -- his employer just announced he has been fired as a result of the viral moment.

BCT Partners -- a consulting firm that specializes in DEI services and solutions -- announced the move Tuesday night ... saying project manager Ryan Caldwell's words during the altercation with the female Cheesehead were "highly offensive and misogynistic," which goes against the company's values.

The firm decided to cut ties after an internal personnel investigation ... and slammed Caldwell on his way out.

11:38 AM PT -- TMZ Sports caught up with author Jim Murphy on A.J. Brown's viral moment ... and he said he's grateful the receiver is bringing attention to the contents of his book.

Murphy said he was aware Brown got his hands on his work ... but had no idea he was holding onto it so much that he had it on him during games.

As for whether he'd like to meet up with Brown, Murphy said he doesn't want to be a distraction amid the team's playoff run ... but provided some knowledge on what they can focus on to succeed even more.

A man decked out in Philadelphia Eagles gear berated a female Packers fan on Sunday -- clapping in her face and calling her a "c***" -- and at least part of the ugly scene was captured on video.

The confrontation happened at some point during Green Bay's disappointing 22-10 playoff loss to Philly at Lincoln Financial Field ... when Packers content creator Alexander Basara says he and his fiancée were trying to catch the game from some upper deck seats.

In footage Basara posted to his X page late Sunday night, you can see after refs changed a ruling on the field -- a man in a green Eagles jacket got in Basara's fiancée's ear ... clapped a few times, and yelled, "Short of the goal line, you dip s***!"

Hall of Famer LeRoy Butler says there are precisely TWO NFC teams that can defeat the surging Lions squad ... and they just happen to be playing each other this weekend!
