Olympic kite surfer Bruno Lobo -- who just competed at the Paris Games in August -- heroically saved a drowning swimmer last week ... and the dramatic rescue was all captured on video.

Lobo posted the footage to his Instagram page over the weekend ... explaining to his thousands of followers the scene played out on Jan. 10 -- as he was testing some new gear during a surf sesh off a coast in Brazil.

The vid shows as Lobo was making his way through the waves ... a young woman appeared to be in serious distress as she was swimming through some choppy waters.

The Pacific Palisades wildfire has torn apart so much of the affluent West L.A. neighborhood forever ... but, it couldn't tear apart this owner and his dog -- 'cause the two found their way back to each other Sunday.

Here's the deal ... Liz Kreutz -- an NBC News correspondent covering the devastating fires in L.A. -- shared a clip Sunday monring showing a man named Casey Colvin returning to his block in Pacific Palisades to look for his dog.

Apparently, someone spotted this dog -- named Oreo -- in the rubble and called Casey down to the area ... and, the two enjoyed a tearful reunion.

Khloé Kardashian is getting attacked for slamming L.A. city's Mayor for allegedly compromising the fire department's ability to fight fires ... when she herself was a water hog.

There was a torrent of criticism on social media, calling Khloé a hypocrite for talking the talk and not walking the walk.

Khloé went off on L.A. Mayor Karen Bass after the L.A. Fire Chief went on FOX 11 LA and claimed Bass did not adequately support their department by ordering budget cuts, among other things, and that compromised the department's abilities to fight the massive blazes that are torching L.A.

Check out this clip caught by a commuter -- this rat didn’t just find the sweet treat lying around ... he pulled it out of a trash pile, then lugged it across the tracks like he owned the place.

The veteran weatherman posted a photo to Instagram Friday taken from behind him in the middle of a live shot ... and, his coat is also cinched by a clothespin -- a move he says is pretty standard when reporting the weather.

You can hear him coughing and anxiously talking to his pooch and another man in the kitchen, reassuring them that they're going to be okay.

Demi's daughter with ex Bruce Willis posted to her Instagram Stories Monday, where she defended that there wasn't a "snub of any sort" following Demi's big win on Sunday. She explained the Willis family had recently spent the New Year with actress Elle Fanning, which is why DM hugged her instead of KJ.

She added ... "Had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her she would have fully given her the time and space. Literally just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishment."

Kylie Jenner didn't seem to have "The Substance" to warrant a hug from Demi Moore after the actress shocked audiences with a big Golden Globes win Sunday night.

Bodycam footage of Sophia Gabrielle, a Sarasota, Florida Hooters waitress has taken the Internet by storm after her chaotic, flirty attempt to avoid being arrested. The saga shows the server's increasingly wild antics after being pulled over following a night of drinking.

At one point in the body camera footage, the server is heard telling the responding officer, "Dave, we're gonna make out!" as she repeatedly calls the officer "daddy" telling him she'll do anything for him. The officer laughs.

Here's a new way to miss a flight ... a Waymo passenger says his driverless ride to the airport wouldn't stop taking him around in circles ... and he documented his travel nightmare on video.

Footage shows a man named Mike Johns sitting in the back of his Waymo ride, which won't stop circling a parking lot.

Mike calls Waymo customer service to report the issue, telling them he's in danger of missing his flight ... but the rep is unable to stop the car in its tracks ... and Mike keeps being driven in a circle.

An unsuspecting man in New York waiting for a subway train was thrown in front of it ... with the brutal incident caught on security footage.

Video is circulating online showing the incident which took place mid-day Tuesday ... where an unidentified 45-year-old man -- who appears to be looking at his phone -- was standing near the edge of the track at the 18th Street station.

The clip is somewhat graphic ... it shows a hooded individual walk behind the victim, before circling around and shoving him in front of the train. The train then runs over the man.
