Lindsay Lohan

It's Everyone's Fault

But Mine

5/20/2010 10:45 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Lindsay Lohan has been blaming everyone under the sun but herself for the predicament she's in ... multiple sources tell TMZ  -- a predicament that could land her in jail.

lindsay lohan
TMZ broke the story ... Lindsay will be a no-show in court this AM because, she claims, her passport was stolen, making it impossible for her to fly from Cannes to L.A. for her probation progress report hearing.

Our sources say Lindsay is blaming everyone  -- even her alcohol ed instructor.  We're told Lindsay claims the instructor made it "uncomfortable" for her to attend the required number of classes because she claims the instructor was texting that she wanted to hang out with her.   As for why she's stuck in France -- Lindsay has a list of people to blame ... and she's not on the list.

We're told Lindsay's likely return date is Friday.  She needs to attend 3 more alcohol ed classes to comply with the terms of probation.  Those courses should have been completed by today, but the best she can hope for is a judge who believes in the saying, better late than never.

Judge Marsha Revel will almost certainly issue a bench warrant this morning for Lindsay's arrest.  Sources say, however, the judge will not go gunning for cops to arrest Lindsay when she lands in L.A.  In fact, it wouldn't be unusual if the judge gives Lindsay the chance to surrender herself to the court next week.

There's no room for argument -- Lindsay has violated the terms of her probation and we're told the D.A.'s office thinks some jail time is in order.

Judge Revel has given Lindsay so many chances, there's not a lot of wiggle room left.  It was possible the judge could have blamed Lindsay's lapses on miscommunication between the court and the alcohol ed program, but blowing off the court date is going to make it really, really hard for the judge to show mercy.

She's attention/fame hungry the more she acts up the more media attention she gets, jail will seem like just a matter of course to her to gain more attention. She would have to be locked up for months for it to have any effect on her and we kind of know that isn't going to happen.

52. She actually seems to have some very valid points...I say give her a break....she is a star and deserves to be treated differently...The judge im sure will be understanding and allow her to continue to work to improve herself and beat her demons. We must as human being offer this young misunderstood lady the olive branch of forgivness and work to help her achieve all her dreams. How can we sit in judgement of this woman when we ourselves are not perfect.Oh wow I think a spaceship just landed in my backyard..

55. I once again recommend keeping her isolated in my underground torture chamber, where she will be forced to participate in my screenplay about ninja hare Krishna disciples from outer-space.
Hare-Krishna, Krishna-Rama, Rama-Hare, or something of that nature.

First, I shall require an underground torture chamber.
Then, I shall need a steady supply of several gallons of clarified butter, also known as Ghee.
Finally, daily delivery of Alaskan shellfish. I understand the lobsters off of Maine are more commercially used, but I really don't like the looks of where this whole BP oil spill is going.

The part she will be portraying will be that of an impudent spoiled addict, torn apart by both the callous oafishness of demands she is required to fulfill, and overindulged as a pampered waif who can no longer tell right from wrong.

Co-produced by Mary-Kate Olsen.
To be listed as a tremendous tax loss failure and write-off by Ashley Olsen.
My accountants and lawyers shall make a cameo appearance doing song in dance numbers ala The Producers in homage to the tradition of a Greek chorus.

Yet another SPECTACULAR failure!

the scheme. keep reiterating in interviews that she is constantly working; show up whenever you want to alcohol ed; say she is busy working; party 'till sunrise all the time; she is working very hard with all her tv productions, clothing lines, spray tan and movies; deny every report of drunkeness, etc.; remind everyone she is working hard all the time; blame everybody else for all that goes wrong; by the way she's been constantly working; and then show up late for court because her dad sent somebody over to france for the specific intent to steal her passport ?? if the court has any balls they would ask for an accounting of her time during the probation period. she's such a big celebrity somebody must have a journal of all her appointments so she won't miss any. of course her dad will probably send in his undercover guy to steal that record too. if she fails to provide proof of why she was too busy to fulfill her obligations to the court she should be sentenced to jail for the balance of her probation period or a suitable time to reflect the seriousness of the crime (drunk driving), her complete lack of respect for the court (failure to follow the conditions of her release, showing up late for and missing court and her total lack of accepting responsibility for her actions). the public interests must be met and if the judge does not sentence appropriately the public's confidence in the judicial system will fall even more. is probation a joke? it's supposed to be an alternative to jail.

It's amazing to me that anyone really has any interest in this girl???Why do the paparazzi bother..she isn't acting..she shows up at parties and trys to act like she is something important..she steals from people/shrugs off any responsibility and my god...she has no parental support..i don't know what planet her mother is from but its so sad she doesn't realize people are only interested in her daughter because she's a screw up, not because she's a great actress....what happened to that??And she goes to the film festival in France like she was invited??I would be so embarrassed if i was her...She needs to go away, get rid of her leachy parents, get real help and try to get her career back. It can be done. The path she is taking is grim. She's not going to stay young forever.....

it looks to me as if people are slowing down with their 'save lindsay lohan' campaign...I don't know why it took this long, it's not like she's worth a damn anyway...I can understand people pulling for, oh I don't know, a Hilton or two, but not LaLoca...dirty...gross...looks like she's had head lice for about 5 years now...whew.

None of this would be happening if she was properly dealt with when she was convicted in the first place. She should have been put on probation with restrictions such as no drinking and no hanging out in places where alcohol is served. A curfew would also have been an appropriate restriction for some part of the probation.
The idiot soft sentence she got for a second DUI caused what we are seeing today. She got the idea that probation and the rules she had to follow was a joke and she could get away with not doing the program as instructed.

Her allegation that one of the instructors in the alcohol classes acted inappropriately should be followed up on. She deserves to be allowed to attend the classes without her “celebrity” status being a magnet for fame seekers. My guess is that this is a lie but if it is in any way true it does not get her a pass but it should get the instructor fired.

Now she has to pay the piper, some time in jail is appropriate no matter how crowded the jail is. They managed to find a private cell for Paris for 23 days without the world coming to an end and she deserves more time than Paris did. What would be a really appropriate situation would be for her to be jailed and before released she should do a perp walk to the court so the sheriff can ask permission to release her.

Since TMZ is treating this story like the be all and end all the question is did TMZ have anything to do with her passport going missing?

"We're told Lindsay claims the instructor made it "uncomfortable" for her to attend the required number of classes because she claims the instructor was texting that she wanted to hang out with her."

LOL REALLY LOHAN? At work I was being sexually harassed both in person and on the phone by a client and guess what, I still had to go to work EVERYDAY. Now she says she could not finish her probation requirements because someone asked her to hang out lol. WOW welcome to the real world hunny when yes you do come in contact with real human beings.

I think if a warrant is issued the judge will grant a stay giving Lindsay atleast 24-48 hours to get back into the country(just because she is Lindsay Lohan), but either way a warrant needs to be issued.

Oh please! Just throw her in jail and forget about her! She has more excuses for all her problems than Obama does!

If the judge is breathing the same air as the rest of the wackos in CA, she'll go easy on her and treat her like "royalty". Can't wait to see what happens because I'm sure it's not what we expect. Time will tell.
