Charlie Sheen

I'm Ready for Another 'Major League'

2/21/2011 9:00 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Charlie Sheen says he's ready, willing and TOTALLY DOWN to play Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn in another "Major League" sequel ... as long as the powers that be will greenlight a script.

Charlie Sheen Major League Sequel

Sheen just appeared on "TMZ Live" -- where he told us he's doing everything in his power to get a "Major League 3" movie on the big screen.

FYI -- Charlie knows the 1998 movie "Major League: Back to the Minors" is technically considered "ML3" ... but Sheen considers that movie an "abortion" -- and doesn't think it should be counted with the rest of the series.

CNBC's Darren Rovell solicited possible subtitles for the new "Major League" on his twitter. Vote for your favorite (right).

"Hey Mild Thing, I think I loathe you! You didn’t think I’d abandon ya, did ya Vaughn? You big piece of cow flop. You steaming pile of mastodon dung. Bring out the pooper scooper! You no talent, flash in the pan, choke artist……huh, where ya goin Vaughn? You looking for your terminator, Vaughn? Yeah, you get back in there Vaughn!"

Major League II was one of the few sequels that was better than the original. The first was more dramatic and for romance. The second one was funny! I still think about Randy Quaid heckling the players and the team...and it still makes me laugh! Runner-up goes to Bob Uecker in his funny commentary.

"My God! Good news fans! The Indians seem to be showing signs of life for the first time this season! They appear to be beating the crap out of each other! Looks like Willie Hayes is trying to hit Rick Vaughn, and why not, everybody in the league’s hitting him these days. Monty, Vaughn’s carrying that left arm a little low, that may hurt him in the later rounds!"

Charlie, we all saw you in Wall Street II. Clearly you're not a big-screen actor any longer. Your presence, your timing, it's television caliber, not cinema quality. When you appeared in Wall Street II we didn't get Bud Fox, we got Charlie Harper.

"You didn’t think I’d abandon ya, did ya Vaughn?" Damn, I think it's suppose to be..."You didn't think that I forgot about you, did ya Vaughn?" Sorry, I did copy/paste somebody. But it doesn't look right to me though.

And I think it's suppose to be "major league choke artist". Damn, you would think these websites with quotes would get it right.

Hmm.. Why did TMZ take down their video of Mike talking to Charlie on the phone and repost this story?

Was it because of the 'Morgan Creek' comments?

RE: 19.
Just heard Sheen on TMZ live. What a jerk! TMZ kisses his ass because he's rich and has a show. With the way he was shooting off his mouth, he may not have it for long. TMZ values him for the above, but tell me what kind of a father has he been, what kind of a husband and role model in his community. He kept on talking about what a winner he was because winners own things like world series rings. Utterly disgusting and pretty soon he will start turning the fans off and the producers and creators of his show.

After listening to Harvey say the diff. between Sheen and Lohan is that he has been able to keep it together. Did this interview and previous ones sound like a man who has it together????

SPOT ON!!!!!!!!! Cheers to both Mary and Lisa! Makes me sad too though, I use to be a big fan of Sheen's work. Now, hard to draw a line between his current character and the real deal... except his character is more likeable.

Charlie, do yourself a favor and stay UNDER the radar when you aren't on screen. It just ain't pretty.

Well, well. Sounds like most people did not hear Charlie Sheen on TMZ Live this afternoon. This guy is a delusional, vulgar, self-centered, egotistical, deranged, smug, arrogant, punk. But, hey, Harvey and Mike are cool with him. I sure hope TMZ gets fined for Charlie using the eff word on the airwaves.

What a rude, disgusting thing to use the word "abortion" like that. No wonder people are desensitized about what abortion really is - a child ripped from the womb. No two ways about it. That baby his porn queen got rid of looked like a baby and it's heart was beating when it was murdered.
