Judge EXTREMELY Impatient with Lindsay Lohan

7/21/2011 9:30 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Judge Stephanie Sautner made it clear -- she is extremely impatient with Lindsay Lohan and her progress in completing probation.072111_lohan_v3_still

Judge Sautner made it clear, Lindsay had better complete her community services within 1 year of the date of sentencing -- or else! The judge said, "I'm not going to give her five extra minutes. I don't want to hear, 'Oh, I couldn't do it because I was on the set of the John Gotti movie.'"

The judge was frustrated that after 2 months, Lindsay has only completed 4 days of 60 days of community service.

The judge was also upset that Lindsay had not enrolled in psychological counseling -- as she's required to do. The judge is giving her 21 days to sign up with a personal counselor -- not a group counselor.

The L.A. County Probation Dept. was asking Judge Sautner to violate Lindsay's probation, because of 3 alleged violations. Two of them were outright bogus ... the third was Lindsay not returning a call from her probation officer. Lindsay did in fact belatedly return the call.

Judge Sautner made it very clear -- if Lindsay doesn't get her act together, the judge will revoke her probation.

So jail for Lindsay still looms.

I am so sick of this Lindsay crap. This lady has gotten away with so much that she knows that she can do anything she wants and nothing is going to happen. If they threaten her with jail, she knows that she can do that in her $30K apartment in Venice. She says that she can not afford a therapist, but she can afford expensive shoes, clothes and her apartment. Sorry Lindsay, I don't buy this line that you can not afford a therapist, tell the Judge the truth, you don't want anyone prying into your dysfunctional mother and father.

IDK who you think I am, but I'm not some Hollywood savior that can resurrect someone's career. I'm just a guy who's a fan of Hollywood. I love a good story.

I think if someone wants to get back in the limelight, they should try and find what work they can. I'm not saying go the porn route (unless you're a hot chick), but get what work you can. Even if that means doing adult diaper commercials in Lithuania.

IDK... I'm not even from Hollywood. Wrong Coast. I just started doing this b/c I saw a scared little girl trapped in a young woman's body, and I was afraid she would die.

LMAO. Wow. If Lindsay was so scared, why didn't she avoid ALL of the mishaps (2nd dui, stealing, probation violations, etc)?

David, quite the opposite - SHE'S NOT SCARED of the law, hasn't that been made obvious by now?

You think Lindsay was sober or by herself when these crimes happened? Why does Lindsay drink and do drugs in the first place.

Sorry you can only see the top layer in your facetious Hollywood world of drugs, back-stabbing, and who-should-I-blow-to-star-in-the-next-film. I think people have more to them than just the way they appear on the outside.

I still stand by what I said. When I first started doing this, I got the impression that Lindsay was scared and didn't seem to know the right thing to do. I don't blame that all on her. I blame that on the Enablers and Sycophants who have been around her her entire life and have prevented her from growing up.

Judge all you want, Ms. bootsy, but I doubt you were ever in Lindsay's inner circle and know enough about her to cast judgement. DIAF

Send her to jail already! If it were anyone one of us we would already be in jail, away from our "jobs" and our family and friends. No lesson learned for someone who keeps getting away with skirting the laws of Probation. Come on now! Just do it...

Or else what? I can't stop laughing at Judge Sautner!! She isn't going to do anything....blah, blah, blah! One of the most useless judges on the bench.

Don't know if this is so for the women's center and the morgue - but people doing community service can't always do the work at their own preferred pace because there may not be enough work for them to try to cram in hours toward the end. So if Lindsay is expecting to be able to procrastinate on this and cram, she might get an unpleasant surprise.

Also by not doing it as fast as she can now, she will be making herself less available for jobs in future. What if some miracle happens and she gets cleaned up and responsible all of a sudden and people start offering her real roles in a few months? This judge isn't going to let her do an extension this time. And producers are likely to be hesitant to give her much of a role (if any) with more jail time hanging over her head if she isn't working hard on the community service to avoid problems. So her first priority really needs to be getting through the community service. Even the carrot on the stick doesn't seem to be working - the judge had said she would be off supervised probation once she completes CS (meaning she doesn't have to report to a probation officer and just has to avoid any more lawbreaking for the remainder of her probation). But she made the same mistake before when she was given more than a year to finish up a small number of drunk ed classes at a speed of no more than one per week. She thought she could cram at the very end anyway (not being a very good listener), which was really stupid and was one of the things that got her into a continuing mess.

By the way, she has had more than just a month to do community service. She had time before house arrest as well, people commented at the time that she wasn't getting the hours in she needed back then. She just chose to drag her feet on it from the very beginning. Again, she should have been aiming to impress the judge at the progress hearing she knew she would have in July. She really should have also given priority to therapy - something is just not right with her, her decisions are so off and against her own self-interest. Can't tell if it's just the booze and drugs or if she just hasn't been properly diagnosed for real treatment of whatever disorders she has. I think that's why the judges have pushed for therapy - her actions and reactions just don't make sense for a full-grown adult.

Lilo saying she can't afford counseling b/c she lost her insurance makes no sense. I don't believe insurance covers more than about $25 per session anyway, unless one is actually admitted to a mental institution. Out-patient treatment might pay only $25 per $150-$300+ sessioin, so not having insurance is not an excuse. I suspect it's more about not wanting to face her issues, just like most people who avoid therapy. It seems people who need it the least are more likely to go because they are honest with themselves and enjoy learning more about themselves and blame themselves for even little things. So many people who really need counseling won't go because they are the very people who feel little guilt over things they've done and really don't want to be responsible to change. Not saying that's Lindsay's reason for not going, just saying it's a general observation of mine ...

Also, she seemed to have the money to go to the Hamptons and visit NYC after release from her house arrest. She also has the the $7,000 per month or whatever it costs to rent that expensive apartment. I think she can "scrape up" another $300 to $500 per week for a couple or even three weekly sessions. At least this judge was smart enough to recognize that her underlying issues are driving her addictive behavior and not the other way around. Others were treating her addiction instead of dealing with deeper issues, and this judge is getting to the root of the problem.

Didn't Lilo sign up for and begin community service very early, even before her sentencing, but then when she got only house arrest, she didn't seem so in a hurry to do the community work?

Gosh leave that girl ALONE!! Sure is funny that the great "judicial system" is giving Lindsey Lohan more time and restrictions than Casey Anthony hell she meaning Casey Anthony didn't even serve as much time as Lindsey Lohan and her charges were murder and Lindsey was just accused of stealing a necklace which makes no sense if she wanted a necklace I'm sure Lindsey has the funds to BUY one. Come on now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't fool yourself. Lindsay is not going to do any jail time. She does a little something for the judges on the side and she's good.

The judge plays rough, then lets Lohan off the hook. I think it is all a big SCAM. And, you couldn't give me free tickets to the movie she will be in....

omg; these judges are tools; what idiots. They sound like rich parents telling their spoiled kids, "now if you do it just one more time" while the kids laughs and does it one more time.

She just threw a huge party not too long ago that cost a bundle and she can't afford counseling? lol;

The courts are a joke.

Why does this judge keep giving her chance after chance? With Lohan's prior history she's not going to complete it. She thinks that she's above the law because she's a celebrity. Just throw the book at her and give her at least ten years in jail.

I'm so sick and tired of the court system bending over backwards. For celebs who keep breaking the law they're just regular people. Like all of us only they're out in the public alot more. We all know how this is going to turn out she's going to be late. Make up a bogus excuse why she couldn't complete it,and hope she'll get another slap on the wrist.
