Newly-voted National League MVP Ryan Braun from the Milwaukee Brewers has tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs -- but the baseball star is challenging the accusations.
According to multiple reports, Braun was tested during the playoffs this year -- and the test showed his system contained elevated levels of testosterone.
28-year-old Braun is fighting the results, telling the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, he's the victim of "highly unusual circumstances" -- adding, "This is all B.S. I am completely innocent."
Braun faces a 50-game suspension if the results are upheld.

You would be surprised by how many athletes and regular people use steroids for that matter. Just because it doesn't show up on a blood test doesn't mean that they don't use performance enhancing drugs, they only take them in cycles and work this around drug tests.

You would be surprised at how many athletes use performance enhancing drugs they take it in cycles something like X amount of weeks on X amount of weeks off so they regulate it so that the weeks off correlates to the window of time in which drug testing is carried out thus, avoiding testing positive but still given the physical edge. A lot of people use them even regular Joe's.

You need to update this that the substance wasn't a PED, just something banned. So it could be cocaine, but it isn't steroids.
