Jenni Rivera
's family is DISGUSTED that crash scene video showing the gruesome remains of the Mexican singer has hit the Internet ... and now they want the scumbags responsible to be brought to justice ... TMZ has learned.

As we reported, officials have already arrested two Mexican police officers, at least one of whom is believed to have leaked images of the crash scene to the media -- including shots of mangled body parts.

Additional leaked footage from the scene has spread like wildfire across the Internet -- showing more body parts ... including a severed foot with painted toenails.

The video hasn't been confirmed to be authentic -- but the Rivera family believes it's real based on the items shown in the video, as well as the remains.

Sources close to the Riveras tell TMZ, the family is appalled that anyone would even think about leaking something like that ... and they shudder to think that one of the first responders might be responsible.

We're told the severed foot was the most painful part to watch because "Jenni was very particular about her feet and toes."

Family sources tell us ... the Riveras are hoping to have all traces of the footage wiped from the web ... at least, as much as possible.

Rivera -- who sold over 20 million albums worldwide in her lifetime -- was only 43.

I agree that it's disturbing and wrong.

I just wonder if they have seen Mexican television. There is a show that airs, during the day, on regular tv (not cable), and it's broadcast in the US It's called Alarma TV and they show stuff like that all the time.

typical Mexican values - they do this all the time - for example post-9/11 they showed footage of every dead body, falling body, burned body, etc they could get their hands on. They showed the raw footage of the Syrian Ambassador after he was killed, sodomized, and dragged through the streets also.

The Mexican media (TV, internet, print) routinely publishes images and video of dead bodies. Crash scenes, murders, decapitated drug cartel members - all of it disgusting, but why should this death be any different? Either the country's media respects the dead or they don't.

I think people's necrophilic obsession with dead bodies is revolting. WHY, for heaven's sake, publish a video of a crash scene with the bodies still in situ. I'm not surprised Jenni Rivera's family are disgusted. I would be too. What about respecting someone's remains and respecting her family's grief, and that of the other people killed in this accident. Gross!

The New Improved Sock Puppet

A lot of people get some kind of perverse satisfaction about doing these things. Someone once told me to look up Porsche Girl online and I almost tossed my lunch when I saw the pictures. Those pictures got out there and were also sent to that poor girl's parent's' cellphones like some kind of macabre joke. There were pictures of Diana after her eventually fatal car wreck out there. Unfortunately, as long as outlets are willing to pay for this stuff it won't be the last time.

I'm still horrified from those leggings she was wearing while performing on stage.
Why would she think that style would make her look sexy?

Thanks, egocentric family of jenny rivera. I did not know or care one bit about this noncelebrity until reading this and going to the websites. Keep up the good work of providing free publicity for the gore pics with your histrionic blather.

umm I doubt anyone got arrested for it, Mexicans are not babies about death like we are and this is quite common news footage over there.
