It Nearly Broke My Needle

Michael Jackson
's buttocks were so scarred and infected from long-term drug injections ... the singer's thickened skin nearly broke his doctor's syringe -- this according to the doctor's testimony.

Dr. Stuart Finkelstein -- who cared for MJ back in 1993 during his "Dangerous" tour -- sat for a deposition earlier this year in Katherine Jackson's wrongful death lawsuit against AEG, describing the signs of MJ's drug addiction, and the testimony was just shown to the jury this week in court.

We got video of the depo and the details are crazy -- Finkelstein described one incident, saying, "I attempted to give [Michael] a shot of Demerol [a painkiller] but his buttocks were so scarred up and abscessed that the needle almost bent."

Finkelstein said the scarring resulted from "significant, extensive" shots of drugs over time.

He also describes his bizarre interactions with MJ back in the day, including squirt gun fights. You gotta see it.

Not to mention the scarring on his head from the commercial promo for pepsi where his hair caught on fire. He said the pain was extreme and severe for the rest of his life. The guy must've lived in constant agony.

The autopsy confirmed what Jackson told people who questioned why his skin tone became lighter in the 1980s. Jackson had "vitiligo, a skin pigmentation disease," Rogers said. "So, some areas of the skin appear light and others appear dark."

Debts, drugs, messy bedroom highlighted in Jackson trial

Jackson lawyer Michael Koskoff made sure the jury heard that, even though it had nothing to do with how he died.
Jackson's mother and three children are suing AEG Live, contending the company that was promoting his "This Is It" shows was liable for his death because of the negligent hiring, retention and supervision of Murray.
AEG Live argues that Jackson chose Murray as his tour doctor and that the company had no way of knowing he was using the surgical anesthetic propofol to put the singer to sleep each night.

Rogers concluded that a propofol overdose killed Jackson, although several sedatives Murray gave him that morning contributed to his death.

Los Angeles coroner's toxicologist Dan Anderson, who studied the drugs in Jackson's body, testified Monday that the level of propofol found in Jackson's body was "consistent with major surgery anesthesia."
Propofol is a dangerous drug when not used properly, he said.

Money woes may have led Murray to 'break the rules,' detective says

The Los Angeles coroner's office found 31 deaths in the last 14 years in which propofol was found in a body, including six suicides committed by medical personnel -- doctors, nurses and anesthesiologists -- who chose the drug to end their lives, Anderson said.

There have also been several homicides with propofol, including "a mercy killing" in a hospital, he testified.

If not for his death by propofol, Jackson's health appeared good enough for him to live a normal lifespan, Rogers testified.

and another

There was no evidence Jackson ever took drugs that were not given to him by a doctor or that he took more than prescribed, Schnoll said.

The bottles of sedatives found in his home after his death had more pills remaining in them than he would have expected if Jackson was an addict, Schnoll said.
Evidence shows Jackson sought drugs from a number of doctors, but that was not inappropriate because he needed them "to treat a legitimate medical problem," including back pain, scalp pain and dermatologic issues, Schnoll testified.
While not addicted, Jackson was dependent on drugs, he said.

The painkillers that forced Jackson to end his 1993 "Dangerous" tour early so he could enter a rehab program were taken to relieve the pain from scalp surgery needed to repair burns suffered when filming a Pepsi commercial, Schnoll said.

The burns left scars on damaged nerves in his scalp, which becomes "excitable tissue" that "can be firing just like the nerve," he said. The result "can be every painful, like a burning kind of pain -- persistent, sharp, shooting kind of pain," he said. "It's very uncomfortable and one of the most difficult to treat."
Pain relief is a legitimate use of opioid drugs and a person can function normally if they are taken under a doctor's care, he said.

The Demerol injections Jackson got during frequent visits to a Beverly Hills dermatologist between April and his death in late June 2009 were given for legitimate medical reasons, Schnoll testified.

If he were addicted to Demerol -- which is a powerful opioid -- he would not have gone 43 days between injections, which medical records show, he said.
Jackson also went roughly 13 years -- from 1993 until 2008 -- without the drug, he said. The doctor conceded under cross-examination by an AEG Live lawyer, however, that a gap in available medical records may be misleading.

Jackson's use of sedatives was an effort to treat his chronic insomnia, Schnoll said.

If the underlying sleep problem could be resolved, the chances of ending Jackson's use of the drugs would have been good, he said.
There was no indication that Jackson was addicted to propofol before Murray began giving him nightly infusions of the surgical anesthetic for 60 days leading up to his death, he said.

Michael Jackson’s prolific drug use led to a needle almost breaking when a doctor once tried to stick a syringe in his buttocks.

Scarring and abscesses from decades of drug abuse thickened the skin in Jackson’s buttocks to the point it almost built a defense against needles, according to a deposition in Katherine Jackson’s wrongful death civil suit against concert promoter AEG.

The deposition dates back to February, with Dr. Stuart Finklestein telling all about the deceased pop star’s voracious appetite for drugs.

Jackson’s trouble with needles began to rear its ugly head during his ‘Dangerous’ tour in 1993, when Finklestein oversaw medical care for the pop icon, according to TMZ.

Finklestein testified during the Katherine Jackson’s wrongful death lawsuit against concert promoter AEG, which she claims is liable for allowing her son’s raging drug addictions to ultimately kill him. The jury only saw the testimony this week, TMZ reported.

‘Significant, extensive’ drug injections for a prolonged period of time are what lead to the deformation of the singer’s buttocks, Finklestein added.

Without prompting, Finklestein added ‘I thought he had an opiate problem’ before saying that Jackson routinely consumed 10 milligram doses of morphine before explaining that the average starting dose is about two milligrams.

‘We thought he needed an intervention, he needed to be detoxed,’ Finklestein added, noting that Elizabeth Taylor flew to Mexico City that soley for the purpose of helping the ailing Jackson come clean.

Oddly enough, the doctor testified Jackson was not only coherent and talkative, but that the two grown men watched the ‘Three Stooges’ and had squirt gun fights as well.
Jackson died June 25, 2009 in Los Angeles, CA while rehearsing for the 'This Is It' comeback tour.

Clearly, he didn't have concerts for 12 years, so
he didn't inject as much Demerol while enjoying getting babysat by drug dealers. He was a hypochondriac & since he had too much free time to dwell on his pedophilia & egomania, he loved throwing tantrums. Just 5 days before he died, he smashed a vase in front of his kids because he got called out as a deceitful "basket case".
No one can rescue these types of morons.

Now that MJ's dead the Jacksons want AEG to be their next main source of income.

Despite the decades of experience, MJ was still a simpleminded, manipulative & contradictory conman.
Only stupid people let him use them to keep his dangerous behavior hidden. Money & self-importance caused Karen Faye, bodyguards & chef to ignore the freak's abusive behavior.
They always talked like their cowardice, starstruck actions & failure at taking care of the kids were innocent & forgivable.
Then again, MJ hired these losers because they were celebrity doormats.

MJ was the "music organization".
He called himself the "pioneer". He was in charge, and would fire anyone who dared to say differently.

If everyone were intelligent enough to say no to his lies about having no drug theft & Propofol abuse and child neglect, he'd have cried & begged Ortega & AEG to return after everyone dumped him from the contract - like he fired the nanny & rehired her.

Murray never was in a signed agreement with AEG because MJ told Ortega at the AEG-paid rental home that everything was fine & that Murray was being too mean. We all know MJ knew he could blame Murray when Propofol killed him so he played the innocent gentleman stopping the "fight" that never existed between AEG & Murray.

He hired Ortega only after he signed up for AEG & tricked them into trusting him by passing the physical test. Of course, a month later, he sweet talked Murray & used the kids to give hundreds of dollars in hand for playing "doctor". MJ knew the fact that Murray was weak & starstruck and had no idea who MJ was - a drug liar & truth denier who obsessed about making easy millions and faking humbleness & how much the world depended on his presence, fame & importance to help children

Wacko thought everyone would feel bad for him and call him an innocent child loving man if he
held little boys tightly & pretended they, no matter if they killed someone or fantasized about child porn, were just misguided troubled kids
The pedophile who was imprisoned for killing a boy & owning child porn was recently released from prison.
I bet Wacko fanatics don't consider this wrong because Wacko loved all boys, sold Thriller, moonwalked & went through life with no mental health care, got humiliated & called out as a freak & pedophile, owned 3 kids in a failed effort to
alleviate pain from life with Joe Jackson.

OMG! This story is sooo outrageous!

So the Doctor who was on MJ's Dangerous tour from June 27, 1992, to November 11, 1993, just notices one day that hisMJ's Butt was scarred?

I mean are you kidding me? If true it certainly did not happen overnite and the Doctor should have noticed at some point prior. Also, do you know how many injections he would have had for his entire butt to be covered in scar tissue?
Not possible by any means.

Just another QUACK.....

Michael Jackson had 'died twice before of drug overdoses'

The King of Pop was discovered slumped with no signs of life after visits by his personal “medical staff” on two separate occasions in the 1990s, a maid claims

Michael Jackson was twice found “dead” by frantic staff after popping dozens of pills given to him by dodgy doctors, his former maid claims today.

The King of Pop was discovered slumped with no signs of life after visits by his personal “medical staff” on two separate occasions in the 1990s.

The startling revelations come just a day before Jacko’s family are set to go head-to-head with concert promoters in a $40billion court case into his death.

Adrian McManus, the Billie Jean singer’s personal maid during the 1990s, said she and other staff members frequently stumbled across Jackson “dead” or passed out on a ****tail of prescription drugs. She said: “One day I knocked on his door, but got no answer so I went in to clean. He was lying on the bed, motionless, looking very pale.

“I called several times, but he didn’t answer. As I got closer his eyes were open and he appeared not to be breathing.

“My heart sank as I thought he was dead. I called his name for several minutes. I feared that he was gone for ever, but then he came to suddenly. He didn’t say a word, but burst into tears.”

Adrian said she thought about calling for help, but had been warned before by the singer to not involve “outsiders”.

She also reveals that another incident occurred just a few weeks later, in 1993, when Michael’s security guard found him lifeless at the edge of a swimming pool.

Adrian said: “The guard thought he was dead. He feared the worst, trying to wake him by shaking and shouting at him. He couldn’t find a pulse and he didn’t appear to be breathing.”

Terrified his boss was dead, the worker radioed another guard, who performed life-saving treatment. Adrian added: “Michael made his guards train in CPR so they knew what to do.”

Adrian also revealed the singer had dozens of bottles of drugs in his rooms in bags, wardrobes and among clothes. Unknown doctors and medical “professionals” would file into his Neverland ranch in California and lock themselves away with Jackson for hours at a time.

She added: “It is a shock that people didn’t realise he had such issues, as it was common knowledge in the 1990s. Michael was not a pop hero, but a messed- up, depraved junkie, who was manipulative, twisted and demonic. I still have nightmares thinking about Neverland.”

Jackson, 50, died in Los Angeles on June 25, 2009 from a lethal dose of the surgical anaesthetic Propofol that his doctor Conrad Murray administered for sleep problems. Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in 2011.

His mother Katherine, 82, is suing AEG Live — promoters of his ill-fated 2009 “This Is It” tour — in America for the wrongful death of her son, but news of Jackson’s drug taking could adversely affect the family’s claim that AEG Live was negligent in hiring Dr Murray to care Jackson as he rehearsed for the shows. AEG deny any negligence.

AN entertainment accounting expert says Michael Jackson could have earned $US1.1 billion ($1.2 billion) or more if he had performed a worldwide concert tour and created a Las Vegas show before his death.

Arthur Erk, a certified public accountant who conducts royalty audits for musicians, told jurors that Jackson may have earned $US1.5 billion for the shows if he had charged higher ticket prices during later shows on the "This Is It'' tour.

Mr Erk said he was using conservative estimates to figure Jackson's earning potential if he had lived for several more years, completed a worldwide tour and created a Las Vegas show based on his music. The estimates took into account endorsements and royalties that Jackson could have earned and are heavily dependent on the idea that Jackson would have performed a 37-month world tour.

His testimony was meant to show jurors the superstar's earning potential in the case brought by Jackson's mother against concert promoter AEG Live LLC.

Katherine Jackson claims AEG Live is liable for her son's death because it failed to properly investigate the doctor convicted of giving the singer an anesthetic overdose.

AEG denies it hired the doctor or bears any responsibility for Jackson's death at age 50 in June 2009.

Mr Erk's figures also account for an estimated $US134 million the singer would have likely spent before retiring from show business at age 65, Mr Erk said.

AEG will likely contest the estimates, and the defense objected to the accountant offering his opinion in several areas. A judge overruled those objections.

Jackson had signed on for only 50 shows in London, although contracts for the shows indicated longer tour was a possibility.

Jurors will have to determine the amount of any damages in the case if they find AEG Live is liable for Jackson's death.

Mr Erk said Jackson contemplated doing a Las Vegas show based on his music and archival footage that would have generated new royalties for the singer. Plaintiff's attorney Kevin Boyle said the estimates anticipated the Vegas show would run 10 years.

Jackson also contemplated a film career, according to testimony from his nephew Taj Jackson and the singer's longtime creative collaborator, Kenny Ortega. Mr Erk will not offer any estimates on how much Jackson may have earned if he had a successful film career.

Mr Erk is testifying as an expert witness. The accountant also performed royalty audits on companies that released Jackson's music during the height of his popularity in the 1980s, he said.

This accountant should have his license revoked.

It is commonly agreed that MJ is worth more dead than alive.

Assuming MJ was lucky enough to escape death, he would still have to cancel his show because he was not ready, then fans would turn on him, merchandise will be flooded in Walmart.

Has he taken a course in risk management? Or lost cutting project management?

What happens now is the best for his children who can avoid getting molested. The Estate growing in profits, and AEG has recouped all the lost revenue.
And He, MJ, himself finally got some long term sleeping arrangement.

NFL owner faces Michael Jackson controversy after Fulham purchase
Shad Khan couldn’t have seen this coming.

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan purchased English Premier League soccer club Fulham on Friday in a deal thought to be worth more than $200 million. He spent Saturday standing on Fulham’s pitch speaking to the London media, and you’d think questions surrounding the team or owning football teams in two countries would dominate.
Except apparently that wasn’t the case.
Now-former team owner Mohamed Al Fayed had a statue of Michael Jackson — yes, thee Michael Jackson — built outside of Fulham’s Craven Cottage Stadium after the “King of Pop” died in 2009. It’s very dear to him, as you can see.

The only problem is that the statue hasn’t been popular with the locals, many of whom want it removed from outside the stadium. And now that Al Fayed no longer owns the team, the burning question surrounds the future of the statue’s existence.
From The Associated Press:
Now that the Cottagers have been sold, might the statue be removed?
Khan hesitated.
“I’ve been an owner less than a day,” he said, searching for a diplomatic response. “We have to preserve and respect history, but we have to move forward. I’ll reflect on it and listen to the fans, then decide.”
There’s no decision to be made, according to Al Fayed.
“Michael Jackson will stay — it’s part of the deal,” the Egyptian said, before adding with Khan in ear-shot: “Are you listening to me about Michael Jackson? You promise now? Otherwise … I will take your moustache off.”
No way Khan can let that happen. Look at how glorious that thing is.

It’s settled, then. The statue stays. At least we hope so for the sake of that man-tastic mustache.
Michael Jackson would like that, too.
