File this one under: OOOPS.

"Wheel of Fortune" aired an episode last night that featured a puzzle with the answer "The Fast and the Furious" ... just days after Paul Walker died ... and now the show is in full spin mode.

During the show, producers ran a crawl on the top of the screen that read, "This episode was taped a few weeks ago, prior to the tragic passing of 'The Fast and the Furious' actor Paul Walker."

After the show aired, Pat Sajak tweeted, "Feel terrible about timing of 'Fast & Furious' puzzle tonight. Taped long ago & went out to 200 local stations days ago."

Still, it's unclear why producers didn't simply pull the episode to run at a later date.

It wasn't the program's fault he got killed..What good will an apology do?...Too much gets made of things today...This accident will probably go on for months...Let's be realistic and let the family have some privacy...

just because he died didn't mean the movie did. You can't be such ******* about being PC. They weren't being derogatory or making jokes about the movie... it was just the movie's title. other people starred in it you know.

They shouldn't feel terrible, nor should they pull the episode. WOF tapes weekly themed episodes that also incorporate daily prizes to viewers. It would have been impossible to just "pull the episode". They would have had to push back the entire week.

They should worry more about the fast and furious Benghazi issue with Armed Forces players instead of a movie title.

That's just silly...it wasn't in bad taste at all...as a matter of fact, it had NO cosmic significance whatsoever, no disrespect intended.

As sad as the death of this actor is, I''m happy to see that people here aren't looking to raise a ruckus over Wheel of Fortune's timing. Maybe we are geting away from some of this PC stuff

I wonder if they would have felt as bad, had it aired after Brian Terry died.

Really? It's a friggin movie title. What on earth is so. Insensitive about that? Oh my , haven't we all become way too sensitive? This story just blows my mind. I am a Paul Walker fan and was deeply saddened by his death but to think this game show was insensitive is completely ridiculous.

Again - another self-absorbed actor dies in some kind of accident and everyone loses their mind. What gave those two the right to be driving like a bat out of hell on the street, putting others' lives in danger?

I THOUGHT THE FAST & FURIOUS WAS RECALLING THE IMCOMPETENT holder's DEBACLE. He wasn't held accountable, just like the rest of this TITULAR POTUS's administration....
