Evander Holyfield

Rips Gays on Big Brother UK

It's a Choice and Can Be Fixed

1/5/2014 10:37 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF
breaking news

010514-evander-holyfield-launch-3Evander Holyfield told a housemate on "UK Celebrity Big Brother" that being gay is no different than being handicapped ... because a doctor can fix both ... and was immediately SCOLDED like a child by "BB" producers.

Holyfield made the comments Sunday -- during his first week in the BB house -- when reality star Luisa Zissman asked him if there were any gay boxers in the sport.

Holyfield -- a deeply religious Christian --cited the bible and said homosexuality is NOT a choice ... but rather something like a "handicap" ... something doctors can fix.

Zissman respectfully disagreed with Evander ... and it seemed the two were ready to move on with their lives ... when Evander was taken to a private room, where producers RIPPED him for expressing his beliefs.

In fact, "BB" producers called Evander's comments "inappropriate" because they "aren't the views that are held by a large section of society."

Holyfield says he understood that his comments could be considered offensive ... but never apologizes.

This whole situation reminds us why we revolted against England ... so we could have the freedom to express our religious and other beliefs ... no matter how offensive.

As bad as Evander is .. the show is being RIDICULOUS. Didn't they they learn anything from the A&E/"Duck Dynasty" debacle??

What is Evander Holyfield doing on a dopey reality show. Sitting on an ornate chair of shame getting a lecture from a voice of doom. Is he that financially strapped? Regarding the issue discussed, religious fundamentalists need to get it through their heads that homosexual marriage is NO THREAT is heterosexual practice which will continue as it always has. STOP THE PARANOIA!

Who put gays in charge of the world? They act like the only opinions that can be spoken have to be approved by gays.

"Didn't they they learn anything from the A&E/"Duck Dynasty" debacle??" ----- Obviously gays did not learn that they are not in charge of everyone's speech. So they are going to lose again.

while i disagree with his opinion, he DID accept certain rules going into the house but BB didn't have to show this segment either----they knew it'd be a good controversy-----i believe england has some strict laws about this stuff too

Hey complaining Brits--the reason you're so bent out of shape re: Holyfield is because you adopted French morality. You know France, the country where you can be having an open adulterous affair and still get elected to office. Britain let go of its Christian heritage in order to be like the 'sexual sophisticates' on the continent. When you threw away your moral rudder you ceased to be the nation that the sun never set on. Now you're just another place with dwindling moral and ethical standards masquerading itself as 'open minded.'

Nobody Special

Usually gay men don't reproduce, so the family bloodline stops with them.

Only the strong family genes will find a mate and have children.

So the good thing about people like Pajama-Boy, he will never have another child like him.

If God made humans so 2 men could have a baby, I would understand why they would want to get married. After all, it's only a piece of paper and from a tax perspective you must pay a marriage penalty if your legally married.

Everyone living had a mother and father to start life.

Two Pajama-Boy's will only be the end of those family genes.

It's a choice no one is born Gay/Lesbian God gave us free will and this is a decision people make on their own and it's their sin to live with, it's no different than murder, stealing, lying and all other sins. Gay people will be judged by God we can not judge them we should not hate them we that are true Christians are to love everyone. We do not agree with their lifestyle and we have every right to express that.

You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. Romans 2:1

en Todo Momento!!

being a pederast is not a 'choice' either if you ask them., sooooooo not to say being a homosexual is the same as being a pederast (pedophile translates to: child LOVER... philos- LOVE, admiration, pederast - child HATER, infant/child ABUSER)

An seeing gay openly mite be Like seeing the world for the first time as a child. Like in shawshank redemption when the old guy gets out of jail and everything an everyone is so different.. Hopefully there's no hate gays have the rite to be happy an not looked at as gays just as ppl in love an wanna make a better world

Re: Evander Holyfield; he's right. Gay isn't normal, however it is a part of nature. People should stop using the Bible as their reference to what is right and wrong. It's a book of stories. Let's take off the blinders people!
