Justin Bieber

DUI Plea Deal Offered

No Sizzurp, No Weed

2/22/2014 1:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0221-bieber-01
Justin Bieber has become the next contestant in a high-stakes game of Let's Make a Deal ... and door #1 is JAIL.  Door #2 is way better, but he has to be sober.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... the Florida State Attorney has offered Justin a plea deal in his DUI/resisting arrest case ...  and we know the terms.

Prosecutors will DROP the DUI and resisting arrest charges, but in return Bieber must:

-- Plead no contest to reckless driving

-- Complete 40 hours of community service

-- Attend an alcohol ed course

-- Attend a "victim impact panel" (where relatives of DUI victims share their stories)

-- Install an ignition interlock device for 3 months

Now here's the rub.  Prosecutors also want Bieber to submit to random drug testing, and not just in Florida.  He'll have to submit his travel plans to the court and authorities will set up random testing wherever he happens to be ... at his expense.  And testing will last between 6 and 9 months.

Assuming he complies with all the terms and PASSES the drug tests, the reduced plea will formally be entered.

The question -- Will Bieber accept the deal or risk trial, where worst case scenario he could end up in the pokey.

Wasn't he also charged with driving without a license?

He is really lucky they aren't preventing him from driving for a year or two on the DUI and reckless driving?

I hope he rejects the offer and is found guilty on the DUI for drugs charge. That might be enough for the US Customs to prevent him from entering the country or at least make it a really difficult every on every entry.

This is a BS plea deal. Basically they are setting him up for failure AND making him pay for it. He might as well take the trial.

First time ever Bieber has to face reality, he just thinks everything is a joke. He is a typical kid looking for someone to set the boundaries. Nobody did, until now. I bet his lousy immature parents feel really sorry for him, instead of the normal reaction which is, you're grown up now, what you do has consequenses.

He'd be crazy to accept that deal, and I'm sure his lawyers know it. Chris Brown keeps screwing himself because of probation violations, and that's how they get you. The deal may seem good at face value, but a smart lawyer (and I'm sure he's got one) will go for either an acquittal or something that doesn't give him 6-9 months to screw something up. Don't take the deal, Biebs... They're just going after you because your bla... oh, wait... Canadian!

Obviously this deal is the best thing for him and his future, HOWEVER, he should wrangle a guilty plea and go to jail for six months or so. That would give him street cred, tons of publicity, he can than claim to have been inspired while locked up and release and earth ****tering rap album about his "time" and what he learned.

Tmz censored the story of supervising art director of Interstellar (2014), Iron Man 1-2, Spider Man 3, Amazing Spider Man, Django Unchained guy who lost at trial . The cops covered up evidence because the victim was transgender from my understanding and they ignored the evidence so it was easy to trick TMZ that way. Look up the case award winning singer Bralalalala v. Klassen.

No one gets jail time for first DUI, unless it's manslaughter.

In Florida probation is a set up to fail. He should fight the charges. It sounds like he'd win. Plus, I doubt he will want to quit weed
