Coco Crisp to Cops: The Secret Service Protects Me
Coco Crisp must think he's the President of the United States -- because on the night he was arrested on suspicion of DUI, he told police he was being guarded by the Secret Service.
TMZ has obtained the police report detailing what went down the night the Oakland A's outfielder (and Charlie Sheen's baseball buddy) was popped for DUI. According to the report, cops observed Crisp and another vehicle driving down the street -- but observed Crisp driving erratically, so they pulled him over.
Cops say the driver of the other car pulled over as well. And that's when police asked Crisp if he knew the driver of the other vehicle. Crisp responded .... they were Secret Service. Cops later determined they were private security.
According to the report, Crisp blew a .13 when he was arrested. Crisp told police he had one glass of champagne and two glasses of wine and that he just had a root canal.
Crisp was in the lineup at spring training for the A's the day after the arrest.
