The Band Perry: Alleged 'Terroristic Threat' Suspect ... Pilot with Anger Management Issues
The Band Perry Alleged 'Terroristic Threat' Suspect Pilot with Anger Management Issues
One of the suspects who allegedly threatened violence at a concert featuring The Band Perry is a pilot.
Dzmitry Papou was arrested for making terroristic threats at the Delaware venue where the band was set to perform Sunday night. Cops say Dzmitry and another man made a threat of violence. The band and cops decided it was best to postpone the concert.
We did some digging, and found Papou has a private pilot license, which he got after completing an anger management course. We've spoken with flight schools and the FAA, and there's no general requirement for an anger management course as a condition to getting a pilot's license.
It's unclear why Papou was required to take such a course, however, an FAA rep tells us an anger management course could be required if there's a history of psychiatric problems.
