Tracy Morgan's not going into hiding after his very public vomiting episode earlier this week ... TMZ Sports has learned he's actually trying to get out to another Knicks game as soon as he can.

As you know, the comedian was hospitalized on Monday after a bad bout with food poisoning caused him to upchuck all over the Madison Square Garden floor during New York's game with Miami.

Some had wondered if he'd just opt to catch his favorite team from the couch for the rest of the season from here ... but a source close to Morgan says he will be back at MSG despite the messy scene.

It turns out the second time was not the charm for KSI and Dillon Danis to meet in the boxing ring -- their big fight slated for next week has been pushed back ... but surprisingly, it's not the latter's fault.

KSI broke the news to his fans Friday morning ... saying his body has given up on him as he deals with an illness.

"I'm coughing up greenish-yellow s*** all the time," he said. "My sinuses are hurting to the point where I need ibuprofen every day. The tension headaches that I'm getting are more painful than you can imagine."

Actor Jan Schwieterman, best known for his 1997 role in the comedy film, "Good Burger," has died after a bout with cancer.

Jan passed away on February 28 at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri, according to an online obituary.

His brother, Chad, wrote on Facebook earlier this month that Jan was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of stage 4 cancer.

Two weeks after getting smacked in the head with a baton by an opponent during a meet, causing a brain injury ... sprinter Kaelen Tucker is set to make her return to the track at an upcoming meet!

Womack-Avila told TMZ Tuesday ... "We can now confirm that Mrs. Hackman’s phone was utilized on the morning of February 12 to call a medical center in Santa Fe, Cloudberry Health. A total of three calls were made that morning, all to the medical center."

According to the Aiken County Coroner's Office in South Carolina, the Youngbloods singer died from cardiac complications of atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease.

In the case report, obtained by TMZ, the coroner say Jesse died at 3:13 PM Sunday and the manner of death is classified as natural.

New York City officials are springing into action to help the man caught on video eating a dead rat because they think his health might be in danger, TMZ has learned.

A spokesperson for City Hall in Manhattan tells us ... they're reaching out to the Health Department to help locate the unidentified man, who was filmed noshing on the rodent while sitting on a sidewalk in The Bronx.

An eyewitness shot the footage Saturday and posted it on social media, which left everyone who saw it horrified, including the woman who filmed it. That woman could be heard gasping as the man bit into the rodent.
