Los Angeles County Sheriff's officials tell TMZ that the first mugshot they released (right), the one in which you are unable to see Paris' white jumper, was taken moments after her September 7 DUI arrest and was "inadvertently released" by officials this morning. The photo was never supposed to be released.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department just released the official mug shot for Ms. Hilton, and despite a long night -- and an even longer day before it -- all chronicled by TMZ.com, Paris managed a smile for the camera.

Paris surrendered herself to authorities just a few hours ago, as TMZ showed you exclusively -- and we'll be on the story all day long.

UPDATE: TMZ has learned that the other Paris Hilton mugshot, which was released by the sheriff's department earlier this morning, was not taken when she checked in last night. We're still trying to determine exactly when the photo was taken.

Maybe that's why Sanjaya's always got that goofy grin on his face! Turns out that Sanjy's mom, Jillian Blith, used to be a pot-growing potentate -- and that his sister Shyamali was no stranger to the art of toking herself.

The Momjaya was pinched by the Pierce County Sheriff's Department in February 2005 in Pierce County, Wash. after they found 310 marijuana plants -- and the Sis-jaya keeping watch with a bag of weed and "smoking devices" -- in the Malakar family garage, as the National Enquirer first smoked out today.

But -- buzzkill -- Shyamali, who was arrested for possession, directed the cops to another green-growing facility nearby, where they arrested Blith and her husband, Charles Quist (Sanjaya's stepdad). Quist's mugshot, obtained by TMZ, bears a striking resemblance to Gary Sinise, a very blitzed Gary Sinise. (We're told there's a mugshot of Shyamali, but it can't be made public because she was only 17 at the time of the bust.)

Blith could've gone to jail for up to five years after pleading guilty to one felony count of unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, but got off with a relatively mellow 30-day sentence.

TMZ is all over this Mike Tyson bust in Scottsdale, Arizona. Tyson appeared before a judge just a few minutes ago in connection with his DUI arrest early this morning. Tyson was advised he will be charged with one count of narcotic drug possession, a felony.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that after he was stopped, the former fighter admitted to cops that he had been using illegal drugs over the last few days. Cops claim they found cocaine in his car and on his person.

Tyson was released today without bail. He must check in with a pre-trial service officer today. Under the terms of the release, he will be forced to take drug and alcohol tests.

Tyson was ordered not to possess any weapons or drink alcohol. He cannot take drugs without a prescription. The judge also ordered Tyson not to leave Arizona.

Cops say they stopped Iron Mike after he ran a stop sign and almost crashed into a sheriff's vehicle around 1:45 AM. The arresting officer was part of a special holiday DUI task force.

Police say Tyson was cooperative and acted like a gentleman at the time of the arrest.

This isn't Tyson's first brush in the law in Arizona. In 2004, the embattled boxer was arrested and charged with suspicion of criminal damage after cops say he left a nightclub and jumped on the hood of a stranger's car, causing about $1400 in damage.

TMZ has learned that Nicole Richie was arrested for DUI early Monday morning. She was booked at 4:50 AM today and was released around 7:15 this morning. The booking sheet reveals Richie is 5'1" and 85 lbs.

We're told two motorists spotted her SUV going the wrong way on the 134 Freeway in Burbank. The drivers called 911.

When the CHP responded, Richie was stopped in the carpool lane and was alone in the vehicle. When cops approached the vehicle, Richie was on her cellphone.

Law enforcement officers tell TMZ Nicole Richie admitted she had taken Vicodin and smoked pot.

A preliminary alcohol screening device revealed that Nicole was not under the influence of alcohol.

One law enforcement source tell TMZ that while Richie was at the jail she was "very cooperative and very humble."

This is not the first brush Richie has had with substance abuse. In 2003, she pled guilty to heroin possession. The charges were dismissed after she completed the terms of her probation.

A rep for Richie had no comment.

The country singer was arrested Thursday in Lexington, Kentucky, and charged with D.U.I. and possession of a controlled substance. A police spokesperson says the controlled substance was Endocet, a painkiller.
