Luigi Mangione, the suspected shooter in the murder case of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, was frustrated with the "corporation and greed" of the healthcare industry ... this according to his handwritten manifesto.

Journalist Ken Klippenstein recently released the manifesto reportedly found on Mangione when he was detained Monday in Altoona, PA. Law enforcement sources have confirmed the text to TMZ.

The document, a 262-word letter addressed to "the Feds," comments on a number of topics ... including his issues with the healthcare business, especially UnitedHealthcare.

Suspected UnitedHealthcare CEO killer had his own debilitating health issues — and even needed surgery to try to alleviate his pain, according to a new report.

CNN interviewed a friend of Luigi Mangione — the man charged with the murder of top UHC exec Brian Thompson — and revealed the alleged assassin was grappling with back issues after a 2022 surfing incident.

The friend, R.J. Martin, told the network that at the time he was living with Mangione in a coworking and co-living space in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The inferno erupted around 11 PM several miles north of the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu before it spread over 10 acres of land, then expanded across 100 acres due to dry brush and the Santa Ana winds, according to the L.A. County Fire Department. Early Tuesday morning the fire had consumed at least 1,800 acres.

As the blaze grew ever stronger, firefighters went door to door and used loudspeakers to order residents to immediately evacuate their homes.

A motorcycle crash involving a Palm Springs, CA police officer left ten people, including the officer, hospitalized during an annual holiday parade over the weekend.

The accident occurred around 6 PM Saturday as hundreds of spectators gathered to watch the 32nd annual Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade. Dramatic video posted on social media showed the officer losing control of his motorcycle before barreling into a crowd of nearby people.
