Andrew and Tristan Tate are back in the United States after spending much of the last few years fighting legal battles in Romania ... and, they hit the ground challenging allegations of sex trafficking and rape, claiming they're victims of misinformation and straight-up lies.

The brothers -- who were indicted on sex trafficking charges in the Eastern European country back in 2023 -- arrived in Fort Lauderdale Thursday ... and, reporters were waiting for them.

A controller tells the smaller plane to "hold short," but the private jet continues to move toward one of the main runways. Then voices get urgent as they repeat "hold short!" and a controller tells the Southwest flight to climb to a higher elevation.

After a brief silence, the Southwest pilot drily asks, "Tower ... how'd that happen?"

The aviation experience just got a little scarier, if that was even possible -- a major tragedy was narrowly averted this morning on a runway in Chicago.

Delta officials are digging into the company's pockets, offering $30,000 to each of the dozens of people who miraculously survived a plane crash in Canada this week.

The airline extended the offer to the 76 passengers aboard Monday's Delta flight from Minneapolis to Toronto, where the jet crashed as it landed on the runway, spinning around and flipping over in a fireball of black smoke. Authorities said 21 people out of the 80 on the plane (there were 4 crew members) were hospitalized, and all have since been released.

In a statement Wednesday, Delta execs said there are no strings attached to the money and anyone who accepts the funds can still take legal action against the airline. They said the pre-lawsuit payouts to passengers on Flight 4819 could reach $2.2 million total.

A passenger who filmed the terrifying evacuation of the Delta flight that flipped upside down in Canada is speaking out about the chaos and fear everyone experienced onboard.

Pete Koukov shared his chilling account on the "Today" show Tuesday, describing the wild moment the day before -- when he and the other passengers were left "dangling like bats" after the Delta Endeavor flight from Minneapolis to Toronto flipped over upon landing.
