"Step Up 2: The Streets" choreographer Dave Scott has died.

The beloved dancer died Monday, according to a post on his official Instagram account shared Tuesday.

An official cause of death has not been revealed. Rather, the heartfelt tribute focused on his impact as a father, dancer and friend to many, noting ... "The weight of this loss will send ripples through time. But his memory and legacy will continue to live on."

The Food Network and culinary world are mourning the sudden death of Anne Burrell, with an outpouring of tributes from stars like Gigi Hadid, Buddy Valastro, Carson Kressley and more.

Gigi Hadid, who guest-starred with Anne on the network, shared a photo of the two and wrote, "I am heartbroken to hear of the loss of the Great Anne Burrell. As a longtime fan, getting to share this day with her was a dream come true. Beat Bobby. Hang. Eat. I wish we could have done it again. She was awesome. Rest in Peace"

"Cake Boss" star Buddy Valastro shared on Instagram, "Anne, your passion, energy, and love for food lit up every kitchen. You were a true force and a beautiful soul. Rest in peace, Chef 🤍 We’ll miss you dearly."

Food Network star Anne Burrell is smiling and appears carefree in the last photo she shared before her death.

In her most recent post on Instagram, Anne is grinning wide in a selfie with the Green Lady of Brooklyn.

Anne captioned the post ... "I ran into @greenladyofbrooklyn in my neighborhood today!! I'm not going to lie -- I have been keeping an eye out for her. I may or may not have followed her down the street for a minute. She is just lovely!!!"

6:10 PM PT -- A rep for the NYC Fire Department tells TMZ ... the 911 caller reported that Anne went into cardiac arrest.

"Food Network" celebrity chef Anne Burrell has died in NYC ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... EMS personnel received a call of a woman in need of assistance Tuesday morning after Burrell was found unresponsive inside her Brooklyn home.

Paramedics were unable to revive Burrell and declared her dead. The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine her cause of death.

D.L. also took aim at the heavy military presence in L.A. right now -- pointing out there are currently more personnel stationed in Home Depot parking lots than in Afghanistan ... so if they’re bringing that kind of force, they should expect a response just as strong.

3:30 PM PT -- The Family of Bryshere Gray tells TMZ ... "Bryshere and the family are still trying to understand everything from this past weekend. Bryshere appreciates all the well wishes as he resumes working on his mental health. Both Bryshere and Chosen (Dustin) are doing fine. Mr. Gray loves all his fans and supporters.

"Their friendship is equivalent to brothers & this was not a payment dispute. This was an issue concerning Bryshere’s safety and health. We kindly ask for privacy as we are all working to find peace and move on from this matter."

Former "Empire" star Bryshere Gray allegedly lunged at a man and punched him at a hotel last Friday before assault charges were filed ... this according to the criminal complaint obtained by TMZ.

The alleged assault went down in Chesapeake, Virginia ... where a man named Dustin Wilkins was trying to help the actor with a payment dispute at the Homewood Suites.

Wilkins says he told Gray he can't just skip out on the bill for his stay -- reasoning he has plenty of other issues to worry about and that he was simply trying to "save" his life -- which seemingly angered Gray. It's unclear if the two men know each other.

Infamous televangelist Jimmy Swaggart has been hospitalized in critical condition after suffering a cardiac arrest over the weekend ... TMZ has learned.

The 90-year-old pastor was at home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, when he had a heart attack Sunday morning -- Father's Day -- according to his family.

One of the doctors charged in connection with Matthew Perry's ketamine death is one step closer to doing hard time ... because he just copped to a slew of crimes.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Dr. Salvador Plasencia -- one of 2 physicians busted in the Perry case -- has agreed to plead guilty to four counts of distribution of ketamine.

Federal prosecutors say they expect Dr. Plasencia to formally enter his plea in the coming weeks ... he's facing up to 40 years in federal prison, but both sides have agreed to recommend a sentence of 15 to 21 months, though it's ultimately up to the judge.

New legal trouble for Bryshere Gray ... the former "Empire" star is facing a criminal charge in Virginia.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ ... Bryshere is charged with one misdemeanor count of assault and battery.

The docs show the alleged incident that led to the criminal charge happened on Friday ... Bryshere was arrested on Sunday and he's since bonded out of jail.
