Britney Spears just addressed the hotel incident that required paramedics to rush to the scene -- and she's out here claiming "fake news" ... while also vowing to head to Beantown.

The pop star hopped on IG Thursday with a telling caption, which seems to touch on exactly what happened Wednesday night -- namely, first responders arriving at the Chateau Marmont after Britney and her boyfriend, Paul Soliz, got a big fight that spun out of control.

She writes, "Just to let people know ... the news is fake !!! I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday !!!"

Charles Barkley's feud with Galveston, Texas is far from over -- the NBA legend was just targeted with a bunch of billboards throughout the city after dissing it on national television!!

As we previously reported, Chuck ruffled some feathers in the Queen City of the Gulf after claiming it had "dirty ass water" on TNT's "Inside the NBA" ... which prompted a response from the Visit Galveston tourism organization.

In new court docs, obtained by TMZ, the musician asks for her name to change from "Sia Kate Furler" to "Sia Bernad," taking her husband Dan Bernad's last name. Sia's attorney filed the request on Thursday ... a few days shy of her one-year wedding anniversary.

Remember, Sia and Dan tied the knot in a surprise wedding last year, exchanging vows at Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana's Villa Olivetta in Portofino, Italy.

A male orangutan has scientists going bananas -- 'cause the primate treated his face wound with a medicinal plant ... which seems to have been intentional, a first for scientists to observe.

The primate hails from Indonesia -- its name is Rakus, BTW -- and researchers say it got into a fight back in 2022 ... which left him with a particularly bad face wound in the form of a bad gash near his right eye.

Officials followed Rakus around for the next few days and observed some bizarre behavior for an ape ... seeing the orangutan chewing up a particular liana plant -- which is not normal food for this species. As it turns out ... the plant ended up having healing powers.

Britney Spears got into a huge fight with her boyfriend Wednesday night, and she ended up out of control, crying, possibly cut, and almost driven away in an ambulance ... TMZ has learned.

Britney got to the Chateau Marmont late Wednesday night with boyfriend Paul Soliz ... and there was some sort of disturbance and someone called police, claiming a woman matching Britney's description was harassing and threatening hotel employees and guests. Officers showed up shortly after 10:30 PM, but they saw no signs of trouble and left.

We're told Britney and Paul retreated to a hotel room around 11 PM where they continued partying and drinking. While they were in the room they ended up getting into a huge altercation that we're told turned physical, according to sources, and Britney may have hurt her leg.

Mariah The Scientist was arrested and booked in Atlanta Wednesday night ... after a woman told cops Mariah laid down a savage beating for no apparent reason

According to a Fulton County police report, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, a woman named Cleopatra Dues arrived at the Zone 2 precinct on March 29 and told cops she was attacked by Mariah the night before inside the Cavo Kitchen and Cocktail lounge.

Dues claims Mariah grabbed her, ripped a wig off her scalp ... and then proceeded to drag her on the table and floor, leaving injuries to her legs and feet.

An unsettling scene unfolded in Philadelphia -- where a police officer had to shoot a canine after a pack of dogs started to maul a poor man in the street, in broad daylight.

This disturbing footage is making the rounds online -- and it shows the beginning, middle and end of a violent incident in the City of Brotherly Love that recently went down ... where at least 4 dogs got loose and started ganging up on a guy, which was all caught on camera.

It's unclear what exactly led up to this ... but the video starts by showing the pooches trotting down the sidewalk, where a cop car is already there and seemingly observing the situation.

The actor was filmed shouting at a group of individuals last week in NYC, accusing the crowd of "talking nonsense" and needing to go home. Several pro-Israel X accounts shared the video ... claiming the encounter proves De Niro stands with Israel in its war on Hamas.

However, De Niro's rep has shut this notion down ... saying the footage was merely a rehearsal from his new Netflix show, "Zero Day." As it turns out, De Niro was actually just practicing scripted lines while rehearsing in front of a group of extras.

Beyoncé is making French history -- as her name is set to be added to the Larousse dictionary ... and you gotta peep their definition for Queen Bey.

According to UK's The Times, the singer is 1 of 40 notable names -- both French and foreign -- being added to the famed dictionary, Petit Larousse Illustré ... which updates its contents annually.

Bey, who is listed as a proper noun in the new edition, is described as "American singer of R&B and pop" -- seemingly leaving out the superstar's recent foray into country.
