TMZ has learned Spencer Pratt is currently shopping what he claims is a sex tape featuring himself and his soon-to-be ex-wife Heidi Montag.
We're told Spencer has contacted the Rolls-Royce of porn -- Vivid Entertainment -- and is asking for a meeting.
As we first reported, Heidi has threatened to sue Spencer over a tell-all book -- but she has not made any mention of a sex tape. Unclear if the alleged sex tape with Heidi is pre or post-op.
Vivid honcho Steven Hirsch tells us, "I just got off the phone with Spencer Pratt about a sex tape with Heidi Montag."
He continues, "We are in early negotiations to possibly come to terms for a deal."
Spencer has told a friend that the alleged tape "makes Kim Kardashian look like an amateur."

Seriously you have to wonder..if you are a celebrity..why would you ever record yourself doing such a thing and NOT think it would be leaked to the media for money if/when you split. Heidi didn't have brain one to take the tapes out of the house when she left? Oh wait, we are talking about Heidi. I imagine these two taped themselves so they could get the bags of popcorn and snuggle up on Friday night's and watch themselves doing the freak nasty. They always seemed to be lazy to me.

Everything this couple does is preplanned for publicity and money. Their marriage was self hyped and TMZ bought into all the BS these two spewed over those weeks and months. The divorce becoming finalized on Valentines day practically guarantees they will be talked about on TMZ and other celeb-press outlets now and again in Feb.
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if these two wrote the tell all book and made the sex tape in order to make money. All they have to do is pretend to be upset and sue each other. TMZ eats it up like a pawn in the Speidi fame game. That publicity drives sales and they both make money. Courts can't stop it because someone would have to prove they aren't upset (almost impossible to do).
They will reconcile once they need more press.
I really wish the celeb-press could ban together and decide to ignore these people so they will wither away in oblivion.
