Wade Robson

Says He Never Forgot ...

But Denied Specifics at Trial

5/16/2013 7:21 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Wade Robson
just said on TV ... he never forgot what Michael Jackson did to him -- he just didn't know it was wrong until recently ... but Wade's testimony in 2005 suggests if he didn't forget, he might have been lying.

Robson said on "Today" Michael performed sexual acts on him and vice versa when he was a child.

Wade told Matt Lauer on "Today," "I've never forgot one moment of what Michael did to me but I was psychologically and emotionally completely unable and unwilling to understand that it was sexual abuse."

But we've looked at the trial transcript from the 2005 molestation case, and Wade was asked very specific questions about the physical contact he had with MJ.

Prosecutor Ron Zonen grilled Robson on cross examination and asked very specific questions:

--    Zonen:  Mr. Jackson would periodically kiss you.
--    Robson:  No
--    Zonen:  Periodically hug you?
--    Robson:  Yes
--    Zonen:  Touch you?
--   Robson:  Hug me.
--   Zonen:  Did he ever kiss your lips
--   Robson:  No
--   Zonen:  On occasions you stayed in bed with Mr. Jackson would you ever cuddle in bed?
--   Robson:  No
--   Zonen: Would you lie next to one another?
--   Robson: No
--   Zonen: Would you touch?
--   Robson:  No

Short story ... Robson says he "never forgot" anything Michael did to him ... he just didn't know it was wrong.  So if he never forgot, did he lie on the stand or is he making it up now?  Fair question.

I know how hard it is believe someone that initially lied but when it comes to being molested, it's a very difficult thing to talk about and then throw in that's it's Michael Jackson, he had no choice but to lie for him. Come on people. It was Michael Jackson, even if he had told the truth then ... he would have been ridiculed as a liar. It's a no win situation for anyone.
I can totally relate to his lying and then telling the truth later. I was abused by my father as a child and when I was asked if he as abusing me ... I said NO, I was scared and didn't want my father ... my abuser to get in trouble. But years later when I was much older I told the truth and no one wanted to believe me ... because I ha already said NO. No one can judge him for telling the truth when it was right and ya maybe he is trying to get some money but maybe he just wants to tell the truth as well.

I can imagine what he's going through but none of us have the right to judge him for when he felt like it was "TIME TO COME OUT" Give the guy a break ... Like he didn't know he would be ridiculed and have to deal with people's judgments.

Dose Of Reality

If he did this without a lawsuit all the fans would be claiming it was an attempt to get money or otherwise profit (fame etc.) from it anyway and say "take it to court".

MJ is dead, his legal recourse is limited. Without a monetary claim there is no civil case and he will have expenses related to it win or lose. If you want to talk greed look at a family asking for $40 billion for their dead son based on money "he" would have made, even though that figure is based on assets still owned by the estate and obligations he was unable to fulfill because of his physical and mental condition.

Be objective. You can't base decisions on things leaked to the news that weren't from him and you can't base them solely on a 4 minute interview on the Today Show. People lie in court, fans said that about every single person that was not on MJ's side. Similarly you can't base your belief in MJ's innocence solely on the fact that it was Michael Jackson and you have your idea of what he was really like.

Oppression of abuse can and does happen all the time. It is a coping mechanism especially for men. I believe he was molested. I believe he was manipulated and groomed by MJ and that the gifts were to make Wade think he was special and loved like his own child. If everyone told the truth, all abusers would get punished the first time they batter someone. People including children still love their abusers despite the cir***stances. This is exactly why many men, boys and children don't report because they are made out to be liars. America needs to stop protecting pedophiles and believe the victims. Money is not a big enough motivator in this case for him to admit that he has been vilolated in this way. Victims of sexual abuse have a certain amount of time to report following their recollection of memories, what he said as a minor does not matter. He was cohoarsed into that testimony as a minor. MJ was a master manipulator of his living arrangements to lure children into his inner circle. People need to stop defending MJ and help his victims heal. Leave this man alone and stop victimizing him further.

Let's see what the experts have to say:

Child-lover molesters almost never use violence for sex, said Lanning. Instead, they groom and seduce and manipulate and use cooperation to get what they want out of the child. "I can't tell you how many cases where there are letters from the victim written to the accused, saying, 'You're the nicest person I ever met,' or 'You've been so good to me,'" said Lanning. Many victims don't tell anyone of the inappropriate behavior because they are considered "compliant child victims." "A child can't legally consent to having sex, but some of them aren't necessarily fighting him off," said Lanning. "They're developmentally immature, and later they feel ashamed and embarrassed that they cooperated in their victimization."

Because victims of acquaintance exploitation usually have been carefully seduced and often do not realize they are victims, they repeatedly and voluntarily return to the offender. Society and the criminal-justice system have a difficult time understanding this. If a boy is molested by his neighbor, teacher, or clergy member, why does he "allow" it to continue? Most likely he may not initially realize he is a victim. Some victims are simply willing to trade sex for attention, affection, and gifts and do not believe they are victims. The sex itself might even be enjoyable. The offender may be treating them better than anyone has ever treated them.

Most of these victims never disclose their victimization. Younger children may believe they did something "wrong" or "bad" and are afraid of getting into trouble. Older children may be more ashamed and embarrassed. Many victims not only do not disclose, but they strongly deny it happened when confronted. In one case several boys took the stand and testified concerning the high moral character of the accused molester. When the accused molester changed his plea to guilty, he admitted that the boys who testified for him were also victims.

The most common reasons that victims do not disclose are stigma of homosexuality, lack of societal understanding, presence of positive feelings for the offender, embarrassment or fear over their victimization, or do not believe they are victims. Since most of the offenders are male, the stigma of homosexuality is a serious problem for male victims. Although being seduced by a male child molester does not necessarily make a boy a homosexual, the victims do not understand this. If a victim does disclose, he believes that he is risking significant ridicule by his peers and lack of acceptance by his family

one word. MONEY

Robson is not the victim.
He Hasn't made ANY money in a while,he got turned down or rejected for every recent ESTATE related major MJ production.
I believe that is what caused his 'Breakdown'. NO MONEY.

He thought his connection to MJ would be a life long 'money spinner' before and AFTER MJ died.
However, it didn't work that way...Now he wants to screw MJ's Estate, and his Children with spurious claims.
He had NUMEROUS chances to state his case, in 1993 2003-05 and since then..

This person is regardless of the sacrifice of ethical principles.
He is an another opportunist and thinks the ''end justify the means''.

What happened to him having repressed memory, and only remembering AFTER the nervous breakdown? Now Wade is stating that he never forgot what happened to him? So is he just making up stuff as he goes along. The more I hear on this case, the more I don't believe him. Like I said before, if he is sincere about what he is saying, leave the $$$ out of the conversation and just tell the story. MJ has been dead for 4 years, so why didn't he file his claim when everyone else was filing it?? I'll tell you why, when MJ died, he was just about broke. Now that the estate has amassed a ton of money, it's time to step forward with this claim. BS!!!!!!
