Chris Brown

I'm NEVER, EVER

Going Back to Jail

6/2/2014 2:18 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0513_chris_brown_tmzChris Brown is freshly freed and vowing to clean up his life so he never gets thrown behind bars again.

Sources close to Chris tell TMZ ... the singer is making a Lindsay-type pledge -- to stay away from drugs and bad people, especially those connected to gangs.

Chris seems to be blaming part of his problems -- which landed him in jail for 108 days -- on the people with whom he was hanging.  But he's also acknowledging his problems with violence were largely his doing.  Doctors believe his erratic behavior was largely the result of bipolarity.  He's now on meds and doctors say he's now stabilized.

Brown says his singular focus now is music and he has privately told his label he will not screw up again.

Time will tell ...

Many celebs, and normal people, have made bad choices and learned and have grown from them. Look at RD Jr. and how he turned around to be IRONMAN! To CB: Do it for yourself, your fans will follow and those you lost will come back stronger if you stick to your word...

I hope he's serious. Chris Brown has a lot of talent, its his violent tenancies and his db behavior that overshadows it.

Hope medication compliance is part of his probation.
It ought to be in many cases, but sadly it isn't as the justice system has a long way to go in recognizing mental illness as a primary trigger in criminal cases.

At least he finally did some real time and got some real help. Given that he's sincere, he has a tough road ahead... Because of his rep, there will be s***bags trying to provoke him coming out of the woodwork.

I've always despised him, but he paid his debt. An argument could be made that the sentence was too light, but I bet it was quite an ordeal for him. He's been a s***bag, but he's put in the miles for it. I hope it's worked, and he gets the benefit of my doubt.

Next up, accountability time for Beiber.

Wow ...

I have not been a fan of his, because of his choices. However, I wish him well and hope he does turn things around. He would have an amazing story to tell and be a role model for countless others. Hopefully he really does stay away trouble.
