President Trump Makes Move to Ban Bump Stocks Following Vegas/Florida Shootings

2/20/2018 1:55 PM PST
Breaking News

President Trump's doing something about gun control -- he says he's signed paperwork directing Jeff Sessions to get the ball rolling on banning "all devices that turn legal weapons into machine guns."

Trump says this process actually started after the Las Vegas massacre in October, when he told the Attorney General to look into whether the bump stocks used by Stephen Paddock were illegal under current law.

The Prez must have been encouraged by what Sessions reported back, because now -- in the wake of the Florida school shooting by Nikolas Cruz that left 17 people dead -- he's made a big move to propose regulations almost all gun control advocates support.

It's unclear what Sessions will do from here, but steps are clearly being taken to address the gun crisis after the latest mass shooting in America

However, don't count on the Florida State House to keep the progress going ... around the same time Trump made his announcement, state legislatures voted down a measure to hear a bill banning assault rifles 71-36.

Baby steps ...

'Last Men in Aleppo' Filmmakers Toss Hail Mary for Travel Visas

2/20/2018 12:50 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Desperate times call for desperate measures -- creators of the Oscar-nominated film, "Last Men in Aleppo," are hoping party invitations will convince feds to approve their travel from Syria to the United States.

If you haven't heard ... producer Kareem Abeed, co-director Hassan Kattan and cinematographers Fadi Al Halabi and Thaer Mohamad are from Syria, and they're barred from coming to the U.S. for the Academy Awards due to President Trump's travel ban.

The filmmakers know exceptions can be made for unusual circumstances, and we're told their Hail Mary consists of securing as many Oscar party invitations as possible. They want to present the documents to local consulates Tuesday in Europe.

Their argument, we're told, will be that they have legitimate business reasons to be in L.A. before, during and after the Oscars.

Two of the guys, Hassan and Fadi, went through this last year when their documentary short, "The White Helmets" won an Oscar. They were not present to accept due to the travel ban.

Dikembe Mutombo LeBron Should Keep Speaking Up ... & He Shouldn't Be Alone

2/19/2018 3:59 PM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Dikembe Mutombo says LeBron James shouldn't "shut up and dribble" -- he should continue to take a stand to defeat social injustice ... and he's not the only one, we all should.

Mutombo is reacting to the recent comments by FOX News host Laura Ingraham -- who said she doesn't care to get political advice from "someone who gets paid $100 million a year to bounce a ball."

The comments sparked a nationwide debate on whether athletes should use their platforms to speak on these issues -- and Mutombo says the answer is a resounding YES.

"I think everyone in the U.S. has rights to express themselves. When there's a problem affecting one part of the society, it becomes the responsibility of everybody."

We then asked if LeBron should continue to weigh in on polical topics -- and Dikembe told us it should be a team effort.

"Everyone, not just LeBron ... everyone."

President Trump Blasts Oprah's '60 Minutes' Report ... Hopes She Runs for Prez

2/19/2018 6:32 AM PST
Breaking News

President Trump is ripping Oprah the journalist -- for her report on his first year in office -- but says he's looking forward to defeating Oprah the candidate.

Trump, apparently, changed the channel on his TV Sunday night just long enough to catch Oprah on "60 Minutes" doing a round table discussion with Michigan voters -- pro and anti-Trump. He wasn't impressed, and dismissed Oprah, who he used to know very well, as "insecure" ... and claimed her "questions were biased and slanted."

Trump added he hopes "Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated." Guessing he hasn't heard Oprah declare repeatedly that she's NOT running for Prez.

As for Oprah's report ... Trump's supporters definitely had their say. Maybe he didn't watch long enough.

Happy President's Day!

Tomi Lahren Yes, Jesus & Prayer Will Stop Mass Shootings

2/19/2018 8:04 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Tomi Lahren doubled down on her stance the Florida school shooting wasn't about guns ... it's about a lunatic who wouldn't have slaughtered 17 people if he had more religion in his life.

We got the FOX News contributor at LAX Sunday and asked her about Trump tweeting that the FBI could have thwarted Nikolas Cruz if it wasn't so focused on him and Russia. Tomi dodged that controversy, and stuck to her own social media crisis.

Tomi's getting a ton of backlash online for calling for Christians to pray more in the wake of the shooting, instead of talking about gun control.

We'll say this ... she's sticking to her story. Backlash be damned.

Gold Medalist Eric Radford Trudeau and Canada Embraces Openly Gay Athletes

2/19/2018 12:40 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Justin Trudeau makes gay athletes feel lucky as hell while President Trump and his lackeys make them feel like second-class citizens ... that's the sad truth according to the first openly gay athlete to win a gold medal at the Winter Olympics.

Canada's Eric Radford says he's gotten a hero's welcome after he and figure skating partner Meagan Duhamel won gold this week in PyeongChang.

It's a stark contrast to the drama U.S. figure skater Adam Rippon's dealing with after snubbing Veep Mike Pence, who invited Rippon to meet with him after his bronze win. Rippon declined ... citing Pence's staunch opposition for gay rights (he once referred to gay marriage as "societal collapse").

Check it out ... Radford extends his own invite to Rippon. Guessing he'll definitely accept!

Florida School Shooting Thousands Join Anti-Gun Rally ... Student Gives Rousing Speech

2/17/2018 12:38 PM PST
Breaking News

Survivors of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School last week are crying out for something to be done about it ... and thousands have gathered in support.

Emma Gonzalez, a senior at the Parkland, FL school, gave a passionate speech at the federal courthouse in Fort Lauderdale Saturday ... calling out for gun control in the wake of the massacre by Nikolas Cruz that left 17 people dead.

Emma blasted the treatment of her fellow students following the shooting, statements by President Trump and other politicians, and the NRA ... before leading chants of "We call BS!" Check out her full speech below.

Meanwhile in Miami -- less than 50 miles away from the site of the school shooting -- one of the region's largest gun shows is also going down. More than 140 vendors were reportedly at the Miami Gun Show Saturday morning, selling a variety of weapons ... including AR-15s.

As we reported ... Cruz used an AR-15 bought from a local gun shop to carry out his attack.

Brandi to Omarosa So, You Ever Have Sex with Trump?!!?

2/17/2018 7:17 AM PST

Holy crap, this one's juicy ...

Brandi Glanville asked Omarosa straight out ... did she ever sleep with Donald Trump!

Omarosa answers, but that's by no means the end of it. She says someone in The White House is sleeping around with everybody. Just a note ... the contestants need to get a lot better asking follow-up questions.

But wait, there's more. Brandi claims some of the women on "The Apprentice" got down with the boss. As for whether Omarosa did, well, she says she didn't have to. Her reason makes her so unlikable ... and so watchable.

Stormy Daniels Brings Her Dirty Laundry ... To Strip Club!!!

2/17/2018 7:48 AM PST

Porn star Stormy Daniels has been reveling in all the dirty laundry involving her and Donald Trump, so it makes sense she brought a laundry basket to the strip club Friday night for a meet-and-greet.

Stormy showed up at Thee Dollhouse in Tampa, Florida to pose, sign autographs and sell merch ... after performing of course.

She signed copies of "In Touch" mag, which had her face plastered on the cover along with Donald Trump, with whom she allegedly had a tryst back in the day.

The gig is the first of 4 appearances at the club and is part of her "Make America Horny Again" tour. She's previously appeared in South Carolina, Las Vegas and may be coming to a city near you.

Sen. Marco Rubio Trolled Over Gun Control ... 'Three Billboards'-Style

2/16/2018 2:56 PM PST
Breaking News

Sen. Marco Rubio is getting called out over gun control -- in the wake of the Florida shooting -- in a way that would make Frances McDormand extremely proud.

Three billboards are parked near the senator's office in Doral, FL ... each clearly referencing Wednesday's school shooting in Parkland ... and asking Marco Rubio why there's been no gun control reform.

The billboards replicate the Oscar-nominated film, "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" ... where Frances' character puts the heat on a sheriff to solve her daughter's murder.

The real-life trolling of Rubio was organized by the activist group Avaaz, whose deputy director Emma Ruby-Sachs says, "Florida has notoriously lax gun laws, and Rubio, who is supported by the NRA, has never attempted to reform them."

No response from the senator yet.

Nikolas Cruz Target Practice ... Wearing 'Make America Great Again' Hat

2/16/2018 6:32 AM PST

Florida shooter Nikolas Cruz used his backyard for target practice just months before he killed 17 students this week.

This video, shot in October by a neighbor, shows Cruz in his backyard shooting what appears to be a BB gun, wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat.

The neighbor says cops were called to Cruz's home a number of times for "strange and violent behavior." There's a report out that cops were called 39 times.

Kids in the neighborhood are saying Cruz was unhinged, was violent toward animals and would fly off the handle for no apparent reason.

Elizabeth Warren 'NRA Owns Congress'

2/16/2018 7:13 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Sen. Elizabeth Warren says the Florida mass shooting is sadly a vicious cycle set on repeat ... and her colleagues won't do anything about it because they're a bunch of muppets for the NRA.

We got Senator Warren Thursday night at LAX and asked her to offer us a ray of hope following Wednesday's tragedy in Parkland, Fla. ... where Nikolas Cruz brutally killed 17 people at his old high school.

As you can see, Warren struggles to offer a pep talk because she sees no end in sight.

Sen. Cruz on FL Shooting Hypocrite Celebs Want Gun Control For Everyone, But Their Bodyguards

2/15/2018 4:00 PM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Sen. Ted Cruz doesn't want to hear a peep from Hollywood about gun control -- in the wake of the Florida high school shooting -- 'cause he says they're operating under a double standard.

We got Cruz Thursday in D.C. and he says celebs weighing in on gun control is totally hypocritical -- considering the kind of firepower their security details use. The Senator added, the cry for new gun laws after tragedies like the Parkland shooting undermines the true intent of the 2nd Amendment ... in his eyes.

He held up the heroics of a citizen during the Sutherland Springs, TX mass shooting as an example of ordinary Americans needing to be armed.

Cruz got a few of the facts wrong, but he's making his point, loud and clear here.
