Ex-NFL RB Travis Minor Busted In Prostitution Sting ... That Hooker's a Cop!

Ex-NFL running back Travis Minor tried to pay $40 for some lovin' in Florida ... but his plans were foiled when the hooker turned out to be an undercover cop ... this according to police.

TMZ Sports obtained court docs which show the former Florida State football star unknowingly rolled up to a hooker sting operation in Broward County back in 2014 ... allegedly looking for some oral sex.

Instead, Minor -- a 3rd round pick in the 2001 Draft -- got arrested and charged for soliciting a prostitute.

But here's the rub ... Minor has yet to be punished because his case has been pushed and pushed and pushed for years.

In fact, he had a hearing on Thursday -- but the case was yet again pushed back. His next court date is June 30th ... but don't hold your breath for anything to happen.

We reached out to Minor for comment -- so far, no word back.
