TMZ Sports has obtained bodycam footage from the night a former Miami Marlins' draft pick allegedly wreaked havoc on the Washington State Capitol ... showing destruction throughout the building.

Cops arrived on the scene and found an abandoned Ford in the landscaping. After walking around, trying to find the driver of the vehicle, the fire alarms inside the building were heard going off, sending the cops running to figure out what was going on.

A responding officer found Gunnar Schubert walking outside the building before ordering him to the ground and throwing him in cuffs. Before he was detained, he threw a can of lighter fluid ... clearly, the 29-year-old wasn't in a speaking mood with cops.

Mike Campbell -- former Seattle Mariners pitcher and 1st-round draft pick -- has died.

The team announced the sad news on social media, saying ... "We are saddened by the passing of Seattle native and former Mariners pitcher Mike Campbell. Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones." He reportedly died Monday at his home in Kirkland, Washington. His cause of death is still pending.

Campbell made his major-league debut in 1987 after the Mariners brought him on as their No. 1 draft pick. He pitched for them for parts of the next 3 seasons, but was then traded to the Montreal Expos as part of the deal to bring on Hall of Famer Randy Johnson to the team.

San Diego Padres legend Randy "Junkman" Jones -- the first pitcher from the organization to win the Cy Young Award -- passed away on Tuesday. He was 75.

The Padres announced Jones' death on Wednesday, mourning the left-handed pitcher who was the "cornerstone of our franchise for over five decades."

"Randy was committed to San Diego, the Padres, and his family," the team said. "He was a giant in our lives and our franchise history."

Paul Skenes isn't always stone-faced when he gets awards -- he cracked a smile after winning the 2025 NL Cy Young!!

MLB announced Wednesday night the Pittsburgh Pirates flamethrower earned the top pitching honors this season ... and the cameras caught his reaction as he sat with his girlfriend, Livvy Dunne, and friends and family.

Cleveland Guardians pitcher Luis Ortiz made his first court appearance in his pitch rigging case on Monday ... with the 26-year-old being granted his release with several conditions.

Ortiz appeared before a judge in Boston ... where he walked out of the courthouse after posting a $500,000 bond, $50K being secured. He was ordered to surrender his passport ... and his travel has been restricted to the Northeast.

Cameras were rolling as Luis left in a tracksuit, but he kept his lips sealed as he got into the waiting vehicle.

Bryce Harper was allegedly threatened by a Major League Baseball official over the summer ... this according to a bombshell claim made by a big-time agent.

Here's the deal ... Allan Walsh -- a superagent who reps National Hockey League players -- made the allegations on his "Agent Provocateur" podcast which he hosts alongside podcaster Adam Wylde.

Walsh mentioned a widely reported incident over the summer ... when baseball insiders claimed MLB Commisioner Rob Manfred came into the Philadelphia Phillies locker room and attempted to talk to the players about a salary cap.

The Dodgers went from shaking their butts at a post-parade party to watching others do it -- their World Series celebration made its way to the "Dancing with the Stars" set on Tuesday ... and they soaked in a special routine in their honor!!

On the way to the Dodgers' thrilling World Series win, Shohei Ohtani made history in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series -- pitching the game AND blasting three home runs -- and one of the baseballs from the night is about to hit the auction block!

The Dodgers came into the October 17th contest up 3-0 in the series against the Brewers ... and Ohtani, who was the starting pitcher, wasn't only incredible on the mound -- but also at the plate.

After striking out the side in the top of the first, 31-year-old Ohtani stepped to the plate in the bottom half of the inning, launching a 446-foot bomb into the right field bleachers -- his first (but definitely not his last) dinger of the day.

Jerry O'Connell didn't give up a game-winning home run or make the final out, but he's taking the blame for the Toronto Blue Jays' heartbreaking World Series loss ... and it's all because of an outfit change.

Victor Conte, a central figure in one of the biggest scandals in American sports history, has died at the age of 75 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Conte's supplement company, SNAC, announced the sad news on Monday, writing ... "We are Heartbroken by the Passing of our Fearless Leader, SNAC Mastermind | SNAC CEO | Anti-Doping Advocate | Creator of ZMA | Former Tower of Power and Herbie Hancock Bassist, Victor Conte."

The post continued ... "We will Honor his Wishes. SNAC and his Legacy will Carry Forward, Strong and Forever. We LOVE you, Conte!"

1:40 PM PT -- The Dodgers' rally at the stadium was a bit more hype -- with players, staffers, owners and even Ice Cube getting on the mic and getting the folks in attendance going nuts!!

Cube was introduced by manager Dave Roberts ... and he arrived in style. Clayton Kershaw doubled down on his retirement ... saying he'll enjoy L.A. completing the three-peat as a fan next year.

But it was Kiké who stole the show -- holding nothing back as he deemed the Dodgers a dynasty ... while dropping a few dirty words in the process.

LAPD officers were forced to deploy tear gas and less lethal weapons in parts of downtown L.A. after being struck by bottles and industrial-sized fireworks launched from the crowd. The mayhem erupted shortly after the Dodgers clinched their second straight championship, beating the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 7.

Hundreds of fans took over intersections across the city, including Pacoima, Echo Park, and the downtown area ... waving flags, blasting music, and turning streets into spontaneous block parties. Things escalated fast when fans started setting off massive fireworks in the middle of crowds.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are back-to-back World Series champions ... beating the Toronto Blue Jays in dramatic fashion in Game 7!!

The final installment of the series was nothing short of a movie -- the Jays took the lead in the third inning with a three-run homer by Bo Bichette. The Dodgers erased the deficit at the last opportunity ... tying it up at 4-4 to send it to extra innings.

It was Will Smith who came through in the clutch in the 11th ... hitting a one-run dinger to give the reigning champs the 5-4 lead -- which was ultimately enough to seal the victory.

Former MLB pitcher Yoervis Medina has died following a reported medical episode.

Medina, who pitched for the Mariners and Cubs, suffered a heart attack and consequently crashed his car at a shopping center in his home country of Venezuela, according to local outlet Radio America.

The accident reportedly occurred Thursday night at the Via Veneto Shopping Center in the municipality of Naguanagua. He crashed into several parked cars, but no additional injuries have been reported.

The Mariners paid tribute to Medina upon learning of his sudden death, saying they were "saddened" and extending their "deepest sympathies" to his family and friends.

Alex Rodriguez regrets giving Patrick Mahomes advice to play baseball over football ... but Joe Mauer once actually made that tough decision -- and he tells TMZ Sports he isn't ruing the choice one bit.
