Angie's Workout Secret -- Motherhood!

Published | Updated

For an allegedly frail woman, Angelina Jolie has no problem with heavy lifting.

Though the always reliable National Enquirer touts Brad Pitt's 5'7" wild woman as weighing 100 pounds, Angelina was spotted carrying two of her toddlers in her spindly arms yesterday in Prague -- seemingly without effort -- and without collapsing!

Jolie was bringing Pax and Zahara to a school in the Czech capital, where she was flanked by her trusty, bleach-blonde bodyguard and a local security guard.

Clooney Bags on Brangelina

Published | Updated

George Clooney thinks Angelina Jolie is a "horrible" and "ugly" person.

While promoting "Oceans 13" in Cannes with co-star Matt Damon, the two started to rip on Brangelina, saying "Brad has had it tough" between being "hobbled with children" and "that horrible, ugly wife." Clooney went on to say that Brad should just kill himself to get out of the horrendous situation.

Of course, Pitt also stars in the upcoming caper, and the gang has a history of ragging on each other and playing practical jokes -- TMZ's favorite? Clooney allegedly putting a "Small Penis on Board" bumper sticker on Pitt's car. That's what friends are for.

Angelina -- "This Has Been a Heavy Year"

Published | Updated

It might seem like she's got a charmed life -- gorgeous kids, great baby daddy, killer career -- but Angelina Jolie says she's actually "in a strange place" in her life, and that the past year, with the death of her mother, has been "heavy."

In an interview with the "Today" show's Ann Curry, Jolie said that her life with Brad Pitt and the four kids isn't as "crazy" as everyone makes it out to be (though Curry informed her that someone had tried to climb a wall to get a shot of their chat). "I take my kids to school ... I come home ... I have a very solid, very warm home," said Angie.

But when the talk turned to her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who died earlier this year, the actress -- currently portraying Marianne Pearl in "A Mighty Heart" -- acknowledged that it's been "a heavy year," and let the waterworks flow (just a little), chiding Curry for making her cry.

Brangelina Breaks the Bank for Refugees

Published | Updated

They haven't adopted a child from there yet, but Brangelina donated a cool million bucks yesterday to assist refugees in the Darfur region of Sudan.

Brad and Angie's donation will go to a variety of relief organizations working to help people displaced by the ongoing war in the region. It seems the do-gooding duo decided to make the donation after a visit to area refugee camps last month. Moving Jolie one step closer to sainthood-on-earth, International Rescue Committee president George Rupp said, "This donation will make a real difference in the lives of thousands of vulnerable people."

Pax -- Even Closer to Becoming a Pitt

Published | Updated

TMZ has obtained the required public notices announcing Angelina Jolie's desire to change newly adopted son Pax's last name to Jolie-Pitt.

The law demands that Jolie publish information about the little guy's name change for four consecutive weeks -- in any publication -- so that anyone wishing to legitimately contest the the name change has the proper information to do so.

Sneaky Angelina chose the Daily Commerce, a small legal journal with a circulation of about 800. Fortunately, one of those readers is a TMZ fan! The posting, which has already been published three times, will run one final time in Friday's edition.

Jolie's next court hearing is scheduled for May 31, when Pax is expected to officially become a Jolie-Pitt.

Pax's New Name -- It's the Pitts!

Published | Updated

Angelina Jolie has filed a petition in L.A. County Superior Court to change the name of her latest adopted child from Pax Thien Jolie to Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt.

In papers filed April 16 and obtained today by TMZ, Angelina -- the sole adoptive parent of Pax -- is requesting the change so it will reflect the last name of her partner, Brad Pitt, and so it is the same as that of her other three children.

Angelina adopted the three-and-a-half-year-old little boy from an orphanage in Vietnam last March.

Brad's "Hell" Confessional -- Load of "Rubbish"?

Published | Updated

Did Brad Pitt really start telling a random stranger that having the media dissect all the "rubbish" about his life is "hell," and call Angelina Jolie "Supergirl," all while sitting alone drinking a beer at a Hollywood hotel bar?

An article in Monday's Daily Mail (UK) by Michael Jackson biographer J. Randy Taraborrelli, entitled "Is it the end of Brad and Angelina" has folks buzzing, because, in it, Pitt whines that all the attention is "hell" and pleads for the media to stop picking on Angelina. Problem is, Pitt's rep tells TMZ, the "interview" never happened. For one thing, Pitt wouldn't use a Brit-ism like "rubbish," and he certainly would never call Angelina "Supergirl." What's more, even if he were at the Roosevelt Hotel's restaurant, he wouldn't be there hanging out at the bar, boozing by himself.

TMZ repeatedly tried to contact Taraborrelli, but he didn't respond to our requests to tell his side of the tale.

This isn't to say, of course, that Pitt doesn't think that the media attention surrounding him and his kids isn't batty. We're told that the tree-climbing paparazzi have gotten so "ridiculous" at five-year-old Maddox's school, that the boy has to enter and exit the school through a back entrance so that paps don't disturb Mad's classmates as they come and go. Now that's some rubbish.
