Una manifestante negra y pro Palestina fue llamada "Lizzo" por un grupo de protestantes blancos durante un acalorado enfrentamiento esta semana y recibió insultos racistas que la comparaban con un mono.

La horrible escena ocurrió el jueves en la Universidad de Mississippi, cuando los ánimos entre las facciones pro-Palestina y pro-Israel se calentaron en el campus luego de que un grupo de hombres se centrara en una mujer negra del lado palestino de las cosas.

Ella estaba sola de pie y filmando todo mientras los hombres, la mayoría de ellos blancos, la insultaban repetidamente sobre su peso, invocando el nombre de Lizzo y llamándola "perra", además de otros insultos explícitos.

The ugly scene went down Thursday at the University of Mississippi -- with both pro-Palestine and pro-Israel factions holding dueling protests right there on the campus, which got heated when a group of bros zeroed in on a Black female on the Palestine side of things.

She was standing there all alone and filming them ... and the men, most of whom were white, could be heard repeatedly insulting her weight -- invoking Lizzo's name to get the point across ... all while calling her a "bitch" and other explicit insults.

Rachel Zegler just hit the big 2-3 this week -- and while she's looking forward to a new year of life, she notes age 22 was brutal for her ... and a big reason seems to be 'Snow White.'

The actress posted some telling messages to her Instagram Story Thursday night -- which show her posing in a couple different dresses (with the top of her head cropped out) and lengthy captions attached that touch on how rough this past year has been for her.

She writes, "I hope 23 holds a lot less hatred, a lot less being afraid for my safety in public, and a lot more understanding for growing up."

Ryan Gosling's new action flick is stirring up controversy ... 'cause fans are pissed about a throwaway line in the final film -- and, it's all about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.

"The Fall Guy" -- which is out Friday, but seems to have been viewed by some via advanced screenings -- contains a joke at one point about the volatile former couple, specifically focused on their knockdown/drag-out fights from when they were still together.

In the flick, Emily Blunt and "Ted Lasso" star Hannah Waddingham -- playing a director and movie producer -- reportedly walk into a totally wrecked star's trailer ... when Waddingham quips, "It’s like Amber and Johnny were just in here."

Caitlyn Jenner is popping off about the ongoing pro-Palestine protests at college campuses across the country -- and she's got a strong take ... ship these folks to the Middle East!!!

The former Olympian fired off a strongly-worded opinion on all the demonstrations happening at American universities -- particularly those who are using LGBTQ+ imagery as a way of standing in solidarity with what's going on in Gaza.

Specifically, she commented on a video of protesters at Cal Poly Humboldt -- where students were being asked to disperse ... with one spinning around a rainbow-colored umbrella.

Daniel Radcliffe isn't folding to J.K. Rowling's ongoing crusade on speaking out about transgender issues -- instead, he's standing pat with the LGBTQ+ community.

The 'Harry Potter' star was asked about the saga in a new interview with The Atlantic -- and he says the whole thing with J.K., who created 'Potter,' makes him really sad.

He adds, "I do look at the person that I met, the times that we met, and the books that she wrote, and the world that she created, and all of that is to me so deeply empathic." DR goes on to say that when he pushed back against J.K. a few years ago, he felt he needed to.

The drama between Melissa McCarthy and Barbra Streisand over an Ozempic question ain't over yet ... 'cause Richard Simmons is now weighing on the matter.

In a Facebook post Tuesday night, the legendary exercise guru threw his full support behind Melissa while calling out Barbra for asking the slimmed-down McCarthy if she was taking the weight loss drug.

Richard started by writing, "I love Melissa McCarthy…. I have seen every one of her movies."

Diana Taurasi is standing by her comments on Caitlin Clark and the learning curve she'll inevitably face as a pro, despite a wave of backlash, with the former MVP describing fans of the rookie hooper as "really sensitive!"

In case you missed the OG comments ... the WNBA legend was recently on TV following 22-year-old Clark's selection as the number one overall pick, where Taurasi cautioned Caitlin would face her fair share of struggles.

"Reality is coming," Taurasi said earlier this month. "There's levels to this thing. That's just life. We all went through it."

"You look superhuman playing against some 18-year-olds, but you're gonna come play with some grown women that have been playing professional basketball for a long time -- not saying that's not gonna translate."

Taurasi added, "There's gonna be a transition period where you're gonna have to give yourself some grace as a rookie."

Clark fans didn't appreciate the take -- unloading on the Phoenix Mercury star -- though Taurasi isn't taking a single syllable back, despite the hate.

"The new fans are really sensitive these days," Taurasi told reporters, adding, "You can’t say anything."

"It’s kind of like when you go to kindergarten to first grade, there’s a learning adjustment. When you go from high school to college, there’s a learning adjustment."

"I don’t think I said anything that’s factually incorrect. Like anything, greatness is going to translate. And she’s proven that at every level. I don’t see why that’s going to be any different in the WNBA."

Of course, it'd probably behoove Clark to listen to 41-year-old Taurasi -- who was given the "White Mamba" nickname by Kobe Bryant -- is one of the greatest female hoopers ever ... with 3 WNBA Championships, 2 Finals MVPs, 10 All-Star nods, 10 All WNBA First team bids, and a league MVP, amongst many other accolades.

The UConn legend also knows a thing or two about coming in and being an immediate difference-maker. The number one overall pick went on to win Rookie of the Year in 2004.
