A husband and wife powerhouse attorney couple are now involved in the two biggest crime cases in the nation ... that of Diddy and Luigi Mangione.

Karen Friedman Agnifilo has been retained by Mangione to represent him as he faces murder charges for the slaying of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, TMZ has confirmed.

The top New York attorney has been in the private sector since 2021 ... after working as the chief assistant district attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office under Cyrus Vance Jr. for several years.

Admiration for the man suspected of murdering the UnitedHealthcare CEO is not just perverse ... it's dangerous, Michael Moynihan tells TMZ.

The renowned journalist told "TMZ Live" ... the level of joy and satisfaction a portion of the country felt when Brian Thompson was killed last week is deeply disturbing ... but not nearly as grotesque as people fawning over Luigi Mangione.

MM contends our society is clearly in a "sick place" ... and most of the people who see Mangione as a folk hero are too young -- and uninformed -- to really consider the twisted logic of the heinous crime.

Las Vegas cops found Raiders defensive lineman Charles Snowden passed out behind the wheel of a running car just before they arrested him for DUI earlier this week ... this according to new police documents, obtained by TMZ Sports.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department incident report states cops were dispatched to Snowden's 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee at around 11:30 PM on Monday ... after they received a call of a "suspicious vehicle."

Officers wrote in the docs that when they arrived on the scene, they discovered Snowden's SUV had "almost rolled off a four foot retaining wall" while he was "passed out in the driver's seat with the engine running."

Luigi Mangione's family appears to be distancing themselves from the Brian Thompson murder investigation ... in which the Ivy League graduate is the main suspect.

Attorney David B. Irwin, who has been advising the Mangione family following Luigi's arrest, tells TMZ ... the suspected shooter's loved ones are in the dark about the case -- saying they don't "know all the facts."

In fact, the attorney tells us the family only knows what they "read in the papers" ... making it clear they aren't involved in Luigi's legal woes.

3:00 PM PT -- Megan Thee Stallion's attorney Mari Henderson tells TMZ ... "It’s no coincidence that Unite The People represents both Tory Lanez and Milagro Cooper, so the law firm’s statement simply reaffirms the fact they’re working together to bully, harass and victimize Ms. [Megan] Pete. ... Instead of denying that Milagro has been paid, they collectively questioned how Ms. Pete could uncover their conspiracy.

"The reality is that Milagro’s own attorneys confirmed that Tory’s prison calls are public record and even acknowledged they wouldn’t raise any objections regarding them, so it is surprising they turned around and issued a public statement attacking our exposing these calls.

"We are confident that the truth will be exposed and look forward to pursuing this case in court – not in the media like Tory has done time and time again."

Tory Lanez, his father Sonstar Peterson, and blogger Milagro Gramz are firing back at claims from Megan Thee Stallion's lawyers that they're conspiring to spread misinformation and harass the Roc Nation rapper in a complaint filed this week.

The allegations largely stem from jailhouse phone calls between Tory, Sonstar and Milagro (real name Milagro Cooper) ... but Ceasar McDowell, CEO of Unite the People, says his client is a victim of a calculated legal takedown.

Ceasar tells TMZ Hip Hop, "We are deeply concerned by the continued efforts to spin partial stories in an attempt to distort the truth and mislead the public."

The murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson is inspiring more threatening messages about other CEOs ... and, they're cropping up all over the nation.

Check it out ... people are tagging public areas with "Free Luigi" -- like the graffiti in this New York City subway stop, a rallying cry around alleged killer Luigi Mangione, who was charged with Thompson's murder this week.

"Deny, Defend, Depose" has also been painted on the side of buildings and other public areas ... a reference to the words written on the bullets Mangione allegedly used to kill Thompson.

The Fresh Prince is telling fans he's got no Diddy dirty laundry ... 'cause Will Smith says he's never been tight with the disgraced rap mogul.

The actor/rapper took the stage at The Observatory North Park in San Diego Thursday ... when during a break in the show, Smith addressed the sold-out crowd about all the memes trolls have made of him and Diddy.

Chris Zylka was involved in a violent encounter with Ohio police in a bizarre incident partially caught on body cam last week.

Police responded to a report of a man with a gun trying to get into a car last week with a driver inside in a residential neighborhood of Warren, about an hour east of Cleveland. The assailant was wearing pajama pants, but no shirt or shoes -- in 32-degree weather, according to police.

The suspect, later identified as Zylka -- Paris Hilton's ex-fiancé -- was found jumping around in traffic in the middle of an intersection. Zylka had allegedly tried to get into a woman's car and had been trying to break the window, police said.

Luigi Mangione, the suspected killer in the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, was never a client of his alleged victim's company ... this according to the NYPD.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny spoke with NBC New York Thursday, where he informed the outlet there's "no indication" LM was ever insured by the medical corporation ... speculating Mangione may've "targeted" UHC for its status as the largest healthcare org in the country.

As Kenny continued, he noted that Mangione "had prior knowledge that the conference was taking place on that date, at that location" -- referring to the New York Hilton Midtown Hotel, where Thompson was fatally shot last week.

Lil Durk's criminal case just got heavier ... the feds say he's too dangerous to be released on bail, pointing to possible links between the Chicago rap star and another alleged murder-for-hire plot.

Durk's legal team has been pushing for bail -- but on Thursday, prosecutors unsealed a warrant from April 2023 that alleges Durk "offer[ed] money for people to kill those responsible for his brother's murder" ... and say this has become his M.O., and may have also led to the January 2022 shooting death of 24-year-old Stephon Mack.

According to the search warrant, Mack was the leader of the Smashville faction of the Gangster Disciples, which the feds say is a rival gang of Durk's OTF's Black Disciples.

A Florida woman was arrested Tuesday after her insurance company told police she made a threat using words associated with the murder of a healthcare executive last week.

Briana Boston reportedly had claims denied by BlueCross BlueShield recently, and called them up -- and the company recorded it. At the end of the call, Boston allegedly said ... “Delay, Deny, Depose. You people are next,” according to Tampa's WFLA-TV.

"Deny, Depose, Defend" are the words etched onto shell casings found at the scene of the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson last week ... 26-year-old Luigi Mangione has been arrested this week in that case.

James Kennedy's exes are reacting to his legal woes ... sharing blunt messages in the aftermath of the "Vanderpump Rules" star's recent domestic violence arrest.

After TMZ broke the story ... in which we revealed James was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence after allegedly getting into an argument with a woman Tuesday evening ... his ex-girlfriend, Kristen Doute, addressed the news head-on in her Instagram Stories.

Alongside our story regarding James' arrest, Kristen wrote one word ... "Finally."

"Vanderpump Rules" star James Kennedy is in trouble with the law ... we've learned the Bravo personality has been arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Burbank, CA Police were dispatched to a home in the area Tuesday night after receiving a call about an argument between him and a woman.

We're told a witness saw Kennedy and the woman arguing ... with the reality TV star allegedly grabbing her at one point, though we're told officers did not see any visible injuries on her.

Morgan Wallen has pled guilty to two misdemeanor charges in his chair-throwing case ... and, he will spend seven days in a DUI education center.

Worrick Robinson, Morgan's attorney, tells TMZ ... the singer-songwriter pled guilty to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment Thursday.

He's been sentenced to seven days in jail which he will serve in the DUI center -- a program which provides "state of the art alternative sentencing for Tennessee DUI, reckless driving, and reckless endangerment offenders" according to the program website -- after which he will serve two years' probation. He must also pay a $350 fine and court fees.

Diddy's facing multiple new sexual assault lawsuits ... with three unnamed accusers claiming the mogul drugged and raped them -- and, these individuals are alleging the assaults happened much more recently than other claims he's facing.

TMZ has obtained multiple new lawsuits, all filed by the same New York-based attorney (not Tony Buzbee) ... with the unnamed plaintiffs all claiming Diddy drugged and then sodomized them -- with the earliest claim dating back to 2019.

While there's nuance to each claim, they all share similarities ... with the accusers saying they went to party with Puffy and his crew -- two claiming they went to hotels with him and one claiming they were raped at his residence in the Hamptons.
